Mar 13, 2025 · Mollly NearyYesterday I was traveling from GA to Western NC and I got tired behind the wheel. I called several RV parks but it was after 5 so no one will typically answer. I called Dillsboro RV and the owner answered at 6:45 and met me at the park at 7:45 to check me in and get me settled. The park and facilities are super clean and the service was amazing. Want to enjoy fishing a river and stay in a cute, quaint town or just passing through and need a nice spot? Don't hesitate to call Dillsboro RV River Park!
Mar 29, 2025 · Kyle GroveAbsolutely stunning RV park, not only is the location river front. I was able to drive in under 10 minutes to the casino and explore cherokee. Also stopped by the Great National park and got to see stunning views of the mountains and Elk! With amazing restaurants and breweries located in Dillsboro that was also under a 2 minute drive. The park also offers a bath house with showers included that was very very clean. I felt right at home as soon as I pulled into the park, everyone is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Cannot WAIT to come back.
Jan 29, 2025 · Morgyn CunninghamFirst time visiting this campground. we stayed 5 nights.parking lot has sufficient room to maneuver your camper into place. The spaces are nice and flat and have gravel where gravel is needed. there are not many trees, but they are a new campground and may be planning on putting some in later.power, water and sewage were easily accessible. plenty of water pressure. They have quiet time from 9pm-8am. we never really heard anyone being too loud at any point in time. They have a bathhouse that looks like a prefab unit. it was relatively clean the day we arrived, but it didn't stay that way. they really need daily cleaning service. this is something they can and probably will improve on.The office was closed the whole time we were there. we stopped by several times at different times of the day and while they did have the Open sign out, the door was always locked. I will say that they did answer the phone when I called. We visit WNC this time every year to fly fish and we always try to camp on water's edge so that we have constant access to the water. When we arrived, we were surprised to find that there was a fence (not clearly shown in the pictures on the website) prohibiting direct access to the river for almost the whole length of the campground. this meant you had to walk all the way down to the first few camping spots close to the exit to access the river and to get back up to where the fishing is best you had to walk a good distance on less-than-ideal terrain. I will say that the fishing was good once I got into position, but I did not fish nearly as much as I had hoped due to the fence situation. They have a great location. They are about a 1/2 mile from one of the best BBQ joints (Haywood Smokehouse) and Steakhouse (Boots) in WNC.I will probably visit again when not on a fishing trip. They have obviously put good money into getting it to where it is at now and I think they will continue to improve as time goes on and they deal with some of the growing pains.
