Jun 29, 2020 · Mary MaederWent to try gold panning. The normal camp host was gone and we had zero luck since we didn't know what we were doing. Luckily, one of the resident campers stumbled upon us as we were leaving and showed us what to do, let us use his equipment, and even helped us dig! Great guy and a nice place.

Aug 04, 2024 · Cindy ArcherTook my brother Jack here to teach me how to pan for gold. There we were met by camp host, Cowboy Jim. He made us feel right at home. He loaded up our gear and delivered to the river. Showed us possible good spots to dig in, even let us work his own claim spot. He checked in on us to see if there was anything we need throughout the day. His history lessons on the area was so appreciated. He's a true Cowboy! We left having the best day! Bob , the owner was the icing on the cake. We got to meet him at days end sharing gold stories! Can't wait till we get to go back.
Aug 25, 2021 · Joannie BurnettWe originally intended to only go for a few hours to try gold panning for the first time. Dave and Barb are truly amazing and did a great job introducing the kids and I to gold panning.Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to stay a few nights and found the little community at Eagle City Park to be awesome! Bob is a fantastic host and we hope to go back next month.
