Elliott Branch Introduce
Looking for a lakeside escape for 'camping near me' in the Hodges, Alabama area? Elliott Branch, located at 325 Elliot Branch Rd, Hodges, AL 35571, USA, offers a unique option with its quaint and beautiful cabins boasting stunning lake views. While the reviews also mention beach access and associated permit requirements managed by an external entity (referred to as BCAC), the cabins themselves appear to provide a delightful retreat for local users seeking a waterfront experience. This introduction will focus on the cabin rental aspect of Elliott Branch, as the negative feedback primarily concerns the beach access regulations and fees imposed by the BCAC, which may be separate from the campground or cabin rental operations.
The environment surrounding the cabins at Elliott Branch is consistently praised for its beauty. Reviewers highlight "STUNNING views of the lake" visible directly from the bedroom windows. The cabins also offer shared access with neighbors to a pier located right at the back, providing direct access to the water and enhancing the lakeside experience. This suggests a serene and picturesque setting, ideal for those seeking a relaxing getaway with beautiful waterfront scenery. The mention of "wide open views" and its suitability for enjoying the changing leaves in the fall further indicates the natural beauty of the location. For local users who appreciate scenic lake views and direct water access, the environment surrounding the Elliott Branch cabins appears to be a significant draw.
Based on the available review, the primary service highlighted at Elliott Branch is the availability of "quaint and BEAUTIFUL" cabins for rent. These cabins are described as "well taken care of," suggesting a focus on cleanliness and maintenance. The shared access to a pier indicates that water-related activities such as fishing or simply enjoying the lake are readily accessible for cabin guests. While the reviews don't explicitly detail other campground services like RV hookups or tent sites, the emphasis on cabin rentals suggests that this is a primary offering. Local users interested in cabin accommodations will likely find well-maintained and conveniently located options at Elliott Branch, providing a comfortable alternative to traditional camping.
The standout feature of Elliott Branch, as mentioned by a satisfied guest, is the quality and location of the cabins. The description of them as "quaint and BEAUTIFUL" and "so well taken care of" suggests a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing lodging option. The shared pier access directly from the back of the cabins is a significant feature for those wanting to fully enjoy the lake. The "STUNNING views of the lake from our bedroom windows" further enhances the appeal, allowing guests to wake up to and enjoy the beautiful scenery. For local users seeking a relaxing lakeside retreat with comfortable and well-appointed cabins, Elliott Branch appears to offer a compelling option.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for the cabin rentals at Elliott Branch in the provided reviews. Local users interested in learning about pricing, availability, and any potential special offers for cabin stays should contact Elliott Branch directly at (256) 332-0058 or +1 256-332-0058. When calling, it would be beneficial to inquire about the different cabin sizes and amenities available, as well as the booking procedures and any seasonal rates or discounts for local residents. Understanding the pricing and availability will help local users plan their lakeside getaway effectively.
It is important for local users to note the comments in the reviews regarding beach access and permit requirements. These appear to be managed by an entity referred to as "BCAC" and involve fees and potential fines. However, the positive review regarding the cabins makes no mention of these issues, suggesting that the cabin rental experience might be separate from the beach access regulations. Therefore, when contacting Elliott Branch, local users should clarify whether the cabin rental includes or is affected by these beach access permits and fees. If the primary interest is in a lakeside cabin stay with direct water access via the shared pier, the negative feedback concerning the public beach area might be less relevant to the overall cabin rental experience. It is crucial to distinguish between the potential issues with public beach access and the seemingly positive experience of staying in the cabins themselves.
In conclusion, Elliott Branch in Hodges, Alabama, offers local users a promising option for a lakeside getaway through its "quaint and beautiful" cabin rentals. The stunning lake views and shared pier access provide a wonderful setting for relaxation and enjoying the water. While reviews mention potential issues with beach access and permit requirements managed by an external entity, these concerns do not seem to extend to the cabin rental experience itself, which is described positively. Local users interested in renting a well-maintained cabin with direct lake access and beautiful views should contact Elliott Branch directly at (256) 332-0058 or +1 256-332-0058 to inquire about availability, pricing, and any specific policies related to cabin guests and lake access from the property. Discover a potentially idyllic lakeside retreat for your next 'camping near me' experience by exploring the cabin rentals at Elliott Branch.

Elliott Branch Reviews
I didn't go to the camp. I went to the beach. Beautiful views and nice water. I'm not a fan of BCAC or whatever. You need a permit to do anything, and it isn't exactly cheap for what you are getting. $8 a person to use your public park is ridiculous. Selective harassment for permits and a $200 fine if you don't have one for using your park. It's disgusting. With that kind of money, I would expect a much nicer beach.Outside of the tyrants running this place, it is a beautiful location. Wide open views and perfect for the leaves changing 👌 Nice parking lot with spots for boats, trailers, and cars. It's not too trashy.Be a better person, and if you throw pull tabs and beer caps on the beach or in the water, don't go. There are ample trash cans, so stop being so lazy and respect your park. They aren't going to clean up after you, and they shouldn't have to.Maybe quit asking us to pay you for what we already pay for and use your goons to issue littering tickets to offset your taxpayer funds as well as keep the water and park clean. I'm sure you could issue a few thousand a day on busy days in fines. Also when checking for your stupid permit, do everyone. Not just 1 or 2 of 20 people. I've been to 4 of your beaches and I have been harrased at each while nobody else on the beach had to prove they paid. BECAUSE WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TOO PAY FOR WHAT WE ALREADY PAY FOR.
Sep 12, 2024 · Boden Photography LLCThe cabins are quaint and BEAUTIFUL 😍 they're so well taken care of. Shared access with your neighbor to a pier right at the back of the cabins, STUNNING views of the lake from our bedroom windows. We're halfway through a 3 day stay and I never want to leave!
Mar 31, 2023 · CharlotteExcellent ! Cabin was very, very clean! Right on the lake ! We had a wonderful time . We normally camp with our camper but all the sites were full and from what we saw it looks like people have set up long term so it may be hard to get a site but the cabin ended up being wonderful .

Mar 24, 2017 · Brittney WilsonBeautiful lake .. campground was neat, clean and everything worked like it was suppose to. People running campground super nice and helpful. Definitely go back and recommend to any family. Did not give 5 stars because bath house only had 1 shower and the swimming area wasn't great-grandfather because lake had been drained some ...
