Elliott's Landing and Campground Reviews
Wife and I rented a cabin over Labor Day weekend 2023. Cabin was spacious and had two sets of bunk beds, a table for four, microwave, mini fridge and A/C. The cabin was close to the water which made launching our canoe super easy and a small porch that faced the water. Bathrooms were a short walk away and had a shower. Cleanliness was not bad. It’s a campground bathroom after all. There is a game room with pool tables, arcade games, washer and dryer, juke box and tv. No change machine so bring quarters. Miss Alice and Mr Gary are very hospitable people. They run a small store with a decent selection of fishing gear and tackle. They have a decent, but small, variety of various food items and other things you may need for camping. The dock is not new but a good place to fish from and all the other fisherman are very friendly just like the other campers we met while we were there. The location is remote but that is what makes this place so serene. There is a dollar general about 10 minutes away in the small town of Pinewood if you need something not in the campground store.
Sep 04, 2023 · Brian BaltierraGreat trip. Fish were biting, weather was great and the kind folks at the campground let us use the arcade for our fish fry. The landing is clean, the boat ramp is in great shape and the people in the store friendly and helpful.
Jun 11, 2023 · Bob StembaGreat spot on the lake. Great cabins. Cool game room. Pier needs repair/replacement, but works for now. Bathrooms and showers need improvement, mainly for men's rooms. Love this place. Will come back for years to come!!!!
Apr 09, 2023 · Jared BarilovitsQuiet place, friendly atmosphere. The boat ramp is adequate for fishing boats , but the draw available looks low, so deep hulls might need extra care. They're refinishing the fishing pier, but it's still useful. Good rates and good accommodations for travel trailers. Bath houses are older and not well maintained, so bring your own bathroom!
Sep 25, 2019 · Quentin BoundsWent there to buy a trailer, not for pleasure like camping or fishing, but it is nice, has a store, and landing. Very nice and friendly owners. Probably will visit for recreational purposes. Did not use their amenities although they are available.
