Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ - Cherokee NC Reviews
I have been taking my kids here since they were little. Now I take my grandkids. This is a very kid-friendly place with a lot of activities for the kids. The campground is very relaxing and of course good fishing around.
May 03, 2025 · Lewis RidingsThe place is clearly older. Nice people. Bathrooms were okay and clean. The drive that leads to the entrance is littered with junk, dilapidated houses, abandoned cars, rv’s so I was very apprehensive on what the park was going to look like. Our major complaint is that we asked if we could move to a nicer site but were told no because everything was booked. The entire week that we were there the campground was only at about 30% capacity so I know they could have accommodated us. We won’t be back.
Apr 13, 2025 · Lori MatsonWe have been going here for Labor Day weekend since 2018. We have always stayed in the river side cabins. This year was probably our last year unfortunately. For the price you pay for a cabin on Labor Day weekend this should be much nicer. The air did not work well. The TV has never worked, yes we are outside most of the time but when it rains its nice for the kids to be able to chill inside if needed. The pool was not heated again this year. Out of the last three years we have been there the pool heater has only worked once. The cabin was missing screens in the windows. You have to play wack a mole with the light switches in the bathroom to get the fan and light to come on. The pull out sofa bed is falling apart, part of the loft banister is loose. The wireless internet does not work well at all, it needs a major upgrade to handle all the guests. Like I said we have been there for seven years. Improvements on the cabins are never made. We are going to look else where next year. Its too bad because we love the Smokey Mountains and Cherokee NC.
Dec 03, 2024 · Eric CullerI have been going to Yogi for 7 years to attend the Fireside Community PowWow and always loved going, I always find it peaceful and serene. I wanted to share that with my family so we just spent a weekend there in October. They loved it, there were lots of activities for my grandchildren and also activities that the entire family enjoyed. The staff was amazing and very helpful, we rented 4 cabins and have our reservations for next year, the only difference is we are staying longer. My family and I love Yogi!!!
Oct 31, 2024 · Lynn JordanWe just had our first trip to Yogi in the Smokies and can’t say enough good things about it. We loved the creek side site, tubing down the length of the campground, activities for the kids, hayride, rock painting. The poolside party with Wild Bill was a great time. He was so fun and friendly to everyone there. We really hope he’s there on our next visit.During our stay, we had a serious medical emergency with one of our children. The entire staff was amazing with their response and compassion. Harold is an absolute saint! While my wife and child were at the hospital 40 minutes away, Harold drove there at 11PM to bring them back since we didn’t have an extra vehicle to get them. All the employees were genuinely concerned throughout the rest of our stay and constantly checked to make sure our son was better. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will ABSOLUTELY be returning to Yogi in the Smokies in the future. A huge thank you to the staff.
