Fisheating Creek Reviews
Great camping options at Fisheating Creek for couples, families and small groups, and large groups with tent camping or campers needing full hookups. Canoes, kayaks and bikes for rent daily until 5pm. The creek front tent sites are lower lying and can get damp. This time we camped in the oak grove campground area and were able to stay dry despite a night of heavy rain. Definitely make time to walk the boardwalk and nature loop, we saw birds, a family of little boars and huge piles of fresh bear scat!
Mar 30, 2025 · Josie LladoMy family absolutely loves Fisheating Creek! We spent the weekend there and had a fantastic time. It's a wonderful, laid-back campground offering fishing, kayaking/canoeing, karaoke, and more. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming! That said, I did notice a few recent reviews from other campers that caught my attention. Based on their comments, it seems they might have been part of the loud and disrespectful group that was there the same weekend as us. Unfortunately, their behavior detracted from our experience at times. They acted as though they owned the park, left bikes in the road, trash blowing around, and were excessively loud and disruptive late into the night—one night until 3:00 AM.I have to commend the Fisheating Creek staff for handling the situation far more graciously than I would have. This group should consider themselves lucky they weren’t asked to leave for their lack of respect toward other guests and the staff.Despite this isolated issue, we’ll definitely be returning to Fisheating Creek. We’re hoping for quieter neighbors next time because this campground is a gem!
Jan 21, 2025 · Madison PersynMe and my kids love fisheating creek! This is our go to campground. Any chance we get to get away! We do not hesitate to book a site. Very secluded and plenty activities for kids. The kayak run is awesome. Must do!
Mar 18, 2025 · Ezequiel AdradosHad an amazing weekend here. Great staff and so well taken care of. Wonderful paths to wander. We did a fundraiser weekend for the children's hospital here. Hoping we return!
Mar 18, 2025 · AngelVery nice campground where you can RV, tent camp, car camp, or group camp.We car camp here a couple of times a year and always have a relaxing and enjoyable time. The reason for not giving it 5 stars is due to the bathroom facilities... the shower stalls need work. Most of the shower heads and shower handles need replacing, as they barely work.
