Aug 25, 2024 · Timothy WhiteHad a wonderful weekend next to the river and went for a 2 hour kayak trip and floated right to the our campsite. Awesome staff who took us and our kayak from campsite to the drop off point. Staff even checked up on us to make sure we got back safely! So kind and caring. Highly recommend !!
Jun 09, 2024 · Joanne ReederI love wading pines but their new management is very poor. One of the employees came into the bathroom while I was brushing my teeth and plunged the dirty bathroom drain while standing next to me. The water spewed into my mouth and eyes and all over my friends faces. The employee proceeded to walk away and not apologize. This is an outrage to me considering i have come here for 13 years. I was disgusted and I contracted a cough after. Do better Wading Pines.
Jul 27, 2024 · gracie mMy 5 year old and I had our first camping adventure at Wading Pines Camping Resort at the beginning of August with a two night stay in one of the cabins. We definitely plan on returning (and are trying to book a return trip before school starts). The campground was quiet and clean. From the moment I checked in, I felt comfortable with staying here. The cabin was spotless upon arrival. I loved the covered porch and picnic area attached to the cabin. The highlight of the trip for us was the fishing lake - which our cabin was overlooking. To wake up and grab his pole to run down to the lake was a dream come true for him. I do know that a campground cannot control who stays there, but we found all the guests near us to be the kindest, friendliest groups of people. (Two came to my rescue when my son reeled in a HUGE catfish!)The pool was beautiful (but a little chilly for us). Would have loved to rented a kayak, but the fisherman couldn't be pulled away from the lake! Thanks for making us hooked on camping! Cannot wait to return!
