Flambeau Lodge and Campground offers cabin accommodations, providing a more sheltered and comfortable camping option compared to traditional tent camping. Same goes for cups and whatnot!" This practical tip ensures a smoother and more enjoyable cooking experience during your stay. No cell reception down those back roads, thank goodness!!!! :)." Nov 24, 2024 · ChaseStopped in for their Friday night fish fry and it was yummy. Two big pieces of fish and homemade fries. I had a couple of bourbons, the glasses were clean and the ice was cold. Best yet the price was right. If you are up in the Flambeau Forest I would recommend to stop in for their fish fry.
Nov 09, 2024 · Mike OlearyCamped here with the family over Memorial day weekend 2018. If you are looking for something off the beaten path, this is it! No cell phone reception but who cares! The view of the river was great. Not all the electrical hook ups worked but we didn't care. The bar had water that we could fill up our campers with and a dumping station. This is what back woods Wisconsin is about! Get ready to go off the grid when you get here. Disconnect from the digital world and connect with nature!2019 Update: New Owners. Loud music from bar at all hours of the night. A lot less family friendly this year.
Jun 01, 2019 · Hanna PieperIn 2019 my family and I took a camping trip to Ladysmith Wisconsin and one of the spots we stopped at was the Flambeau LodgeCampground. While visiting we weren't very impressed because both owner's were drunk the whole weekend. They didn't take care of anything or even seem to care. All they wanted to do is drink and party. Not to mention they didn't have any amenities available and no assigned camping spots or anything. In my opinion I would not recommend this place to others.
Sep 18, 2021 · Fred Peaks OutdoorsGreat place, good people, awesome food. Older place, everything works though. Nicest camping location on the water I’ve seen near here.
