Fun Akers Resort and RV Park Reviews
We discovered this place just a couple of weeks after they opened. We were only looking for a weekend stay, and we are now going on our 3rd year of being a part of this fantastic community. The owners Brian & Karen Davis have built an amazing campground that is still growing. Without a doubt this is by far the nicest campground at the lake.
May 24, 2023 · Chris JohnsonWhat a community Fun Akers’ owners have built. There are several activities/celebrations throughout the season. The people are wonderful. I’ve included photo and video of last years 1st Halloween event. And we are about to celebrate this coming up weekend for the 2nd year. We also have a wonderful fireworks display on Independence Day! The owners celebrate us campers too and hold a customer appreciation party with a live band!! The campers have also raised thousands of dollars for charitable causes. The lot rent did go up after the 1st year but so did everything else! Somethings you can’t put a price on. If you want to be near a boat ramp to enjoy Mark Twain Lake, this is your spot. Only 4 minutes away. From rigging to zooming off to our favorite spot is less than 10 minutes. (Yes we timed it. Haha) If you are having a hard time deciding on a campground, come stay in one of the overnight rental sites. We will win you over and we’ll keep the light on for ya.

We just renewed for our 3rd year and can’t wait to see the progress and hard work that goes into what makes this place so enjoyable. Brian & Karen (Fun Akers owners) have transformed this property into a great place for my family to get away whenever we need it! If you’re looking for a fun RV campground in the Mark Twain Lake area, look no further!!!
