Home Away Ranch Reviews
My kids and I had an amazing weekend at the Ranch. Micky was a fantastic host and guide. If you do nothing else, do the Avian Sanctuary tour! The birds have wonderful personality and Micky brings them to life. The farm animals were great, too. All were friendly and easy going. Great spot, great setting. We loved it.
Mar 24, 2025 · Scott ColdwellOur family stayed in the Master Cabin over the last weekend. Both Micky and Vicky are gracious hosts and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. This is not your typical VRBO accommodation. It is an active animal rescue and they have donkeys, goats, pigs, tortoises, emus, and other exotic animals. We had an awesome experience learning from Mickey about the various animals they care for; his passion for caring for all the animals was clearly evident. Vicky and her wonderful assistants prepared the most delicious brunch, which I highly recommend! You could tell that so much love went into the preparation. It was a superb experience that our family will remember for years to come. I highly recommend!!
Feb 19, 2025 · Jason CorneliusWe had an amazing stay at Homeaway Ranch, and Vicky and Micky were incredible hosts! They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable throughout our time there. One highlight that stood out was the private chef experience. Vicky took the time to speak with us and understand our preferences, crafting a delicious and personalized meal. We were so full that I could barely take a bite of the specially made dessert for me! Since the weather was cold, they hosted our dinner in their warm, cozy home, complete with a crackling fireplace. It truly made for a unique and memorable experience. Toward the end of the meal, they even helped us with our toddler so we could relax and enjoy the rest of the evening. We can't wait to come back!
Feb 25, 2025 · Shirley PoonWe took our grandchildren for a birthday weekend. The place is amazing, and the beds are comfortable. We opted in for all the animal adventures, which did not disappoint. The children will have lasting positive memories. The owners are very attentive and communicate well. We will be back.
Mar 23, 2025 · Jennifer GreenMiss Vicky and Mr Micky are such great people, accommodate every need and take great care of all the animals on the property. It is very evident they have a high standard for everything they touch. This place is a gem.
