Huckleberry Campground Reviews
Great little spot. I'd never reserved a camp site before, or been up here, and wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a really nice trip for the kids. There are different spots to access the water to swim, and the bathrooms were clean enough. Potable water spouts and dumpsters available. Camp hosts were great.

Jul 04, 2018 · Debbie RipplingerWe have been coming here for years and have always loved it here. Parks and rec has always been amazing and this has zero to do with them. They are the only reason for any stars on this review. This year, almost identically to another review from someone 2 years ago, we were bullied by the hosts from the moment we pulled in until the moment we left. It all came down to him getting an attitude over our side by side that was on our trailer when we pulled in and it never stopped from there. Tried to make us pay the $7/day extra for parking the side by side on our sites parking pad woth the truck, even though we had everything we needed on the machine to NOT pay extra. Then said we can park it in the parking at the campground next door (HA! NOT PARKING OUR $20,000 MACHINE SOMEWHERE UNATTENDED OVERNIGHT WHEN WE ARE LEGAL. SORRY!). We were unloading from the trailer and had half of the front tire on the grass for about 3 minutes and we were scolded for that, meanwhile the guy across from us, directly next to the host, had his truck parked on the grass all weekend and nothing was said to them. Yes, we were paying attention. Our dog was tied up, whining at people who were walking through our campsite (other campers not known to us) and they complained to other campers in the park about it/us. He spent half the weekend standing at our camp site telling us what we can and can't do, where we can and cant have our dog, etc... This is just a couple of examples. There's several others. Thankfully we took our own TP as they were out and didn't refill it for a while (he was too busy chasing people down at the gate as they were pulling in). Won't be coming back here for quite a while, it wasn't a fun weekend unfortunately and one of the only weekends we got to go camping this summer.
