In the woods campground Reviews
What's not to like? We ended up camping at "In the Woods" for the first time as our other plans fell through. Spacious, level campsites, fabulous bath house, very friendly place but quiet. Owners were very easy going and friendly. Plenty of open sites but enough partially shaded sites as well. Pretty sure we'll become regulars there when camping. (Also very dog friendly)
Sep 03, 2024 · Jim McLaughlinClean, new campground. The sites are HUGE and the gravel pads are quite level. I couldn't believe how wonderfully quiet and dark the place was at night; no drunks around a fire, no strings of lights and LED palm trees making it hard to relax. Dave(?) the owner/manager was super friendly and helpful.
Sep 26, 2024 · Robert GerhartWe (35/ non binary and 37/ f) always use our tent(s) but we LOVE it here!!! We’ve been 4 times and will probably go this weekend! We live in Atlanta and this is the perfect getaway from the city noise..now the place is time-honored but in the most humble, quaint, cherished manner. The owners are nice and friendly and so are the other property tenants/ visitors. Not a lot of women- we’ve only met one other couple. But that doesn’t take away at all from the overall comfort of this place. Choosing to be nude was an easy transition within the first 30 mins and now we can’t wait to cross the threshold and peel off the layers !! It’s a hidden gem and that’s one of our favorite things about ITW.
