Tobyhanna Campground Reviews
Beautiful campground here. Stayed for two nights and had zero issues. Electricity worked great! It was a one minute walk to the bathhouse from where I was staying. The lake is a bit far from some of the campsites, but that doesn’t matter too much as you can just drive over to the main park area bordering Church St. People keep it quiet and clean, so you should too! Firewood is available at the boat rental house, or you can purchase some at the Sunoco in Tobyhanna ($10/ bunch). Highly recommend this place.
Jul 23, 2024 · Ethan FlackGreat place to camp. We were at a site where pets are allowed. The campground was pretty full. Excellent time and place to enjoy change of seasons.
Oct 03, 2023 · Iryna PastavalavaGood campground with access to lake. Few campgrounds has stones, so get some tarp and airbed for comfortable sleep. Also be prepared to visit bears.
Sep 09, 2023 · PrakashThe park is great!!! We were there for the first time, we really liked everything. All locations are close, close to walking to the beach. It is believed that a bear lives in this forest and often comes to people who do not clear the food from the table!
Jun 30, 2024 · Valeryia ValeyevaLove camping here! The campsites are roomy, with fire rings & a picnic table. Usually quiet durning the week, gets a bit noisy on weekends. The shower areas and bathrooms are cleaned daily. There is a washer & dryer you can use (have to pay for use). Also, a sink area where you can wash your dishes. There are hiking trails, a beach to go swimming, and fishing within the park. The only problem is "newbies" don't seem to know about keeping food and garbage in safe places. This has caused an increase in bear visits.
