Indian Creek Camp and Ride Introduce
Searching for "camping near me" that offers more than just a place to park or pitch a tent? Look no further than Indian Creek Camp and Ride, located at 1387 Cove Ln, Oliver Springs, TN 37840, USA. While the name suggests a focus on camping and perhaps related activities like riding (though specifics on "riding" are not detailed in the provided information), the customer reviews highlight a campground with beautiful surroundings, exceptionally kind owners, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are passing through for a short stay or seeking an extended retreat in the Oliver Springs area, Indian Creek Camp and Ride appears to be a noteworthy option based on the positive experiences shared by its visitors.
The environment of Indian Creek Camp and Ride is consistently lauded for its beauty. One reviewer, who stayed for a couple of months, specifically mentioned that the grounds and views are "absolutely beautiful." This suggests that the campground is situated in a location that offers scenic vistas and a pleasant natural setting. While the specific details of the landscape are not elaborated upon, the mention of "grounds" implies well-maintained areas for camping and outdoor activities. The beauty of the location made the extra travel time worthwhile for one reviewer, indicating that the natural appeal of Indian Creek Camp and Ride is a significant asset. Oliver Springs, Tennessee, is located in a region known for its natural beauty, with rolling hills and proximity to outdoor recreational areas, suggesting that guests can expect a tranquil and visually appealing environment during their stay.
The services offered at Indian Creek Camp and Ride cater to both RV campers and those potentially seeking cabin rentals, as one review mentioned "aesthetic touches to the unit," implying the presence of some form of lodging beyond basic campsites. For RVers, it's reasonable to assume that the campground provides essential hookups, such as water and electricity, although this is not explicitly stated in the reviews. The fact that a family lived there in their camper for a couple of months suggests that the facilities are adequate for extended stays. The mention of "aesthetic touches to the unit" in another review points towards the availability of well-appointed rental units, possibly cabins or similar structures, that offer a more comfortable and furnished accommodation option. This unit was also reported to be "stocked with most everything you could need," indicating a thoughtful provision of amenities for guests staying in these rentals.
Beyond the physical amenities, the exceptional hospitality of the owners is a recurring theme in the customer feedback, which can be considered a significant service. The owners are described as "extremely kind and hospitable" and "super friendly hosts," creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests. Their kindness made a lasting impression on one reviewer who was "so sad to leave" and would "stay again in a heartbeat." This level of personal care and attention can greatly enhance the overall camping experience. One minor issue mentioned was a sensitive fire alarm in a rental unit, which triggered even when making toast. While this is a point of feedback, the reviewer still expressed a desire to stay again, highlighting that the positive aspects of the location and the hosts outweighed this inconvenience.
The features of Indian Creek Camp and Ride appear to center around its scenic location, the availability of different types of accommodation (RV sites and rental units), and the exceptional hospitality of the owners. The beautiful grounds and views provide a relaxing and aesthetically pleasing backdrop for any stay. The presence of rental units with "nice aesthetic touches" and being "stocked with most everything you could need" suggests a focus on providing comfortable and well-equipped lodging options for those who prefer not to camp in tents or RVs. The positive interactions with the "extremely kind and hospitable" owners contribute significantly to the overall appeal and create a welcoming community feel. While the reviews do not explicitly detail specific recreational features like trails, playgrounds, or communal areas, the emphasis on the beauty of the location suggests opportunities for outdoor enjoyment within or near the campground. The name "Camp and Ride" hints at potential facilities or access related to some form of riding activity, but without further information, this remains speculative. However, the strong positive feedback regarding the environment and the hosts makes Indian Creek Camp and Ride a compelling option for those seeking a pleasant and welcoming "camping near me" experience in the Oliver Springs area.
Currently, no specific promotional information is available for Indian Creek Camp and Ride based on the provided reviews. However, the overwhelmingly positive testimonials from past guests serve as a powerful form of promotion. To inquire about potential discounts for extended stays, seasonal offers, or any other promotions, it is best to contact Indian Creek Camp and Ride directly using the provided phone number. Indian Creek Camp and Ride Reviews
My husband, son, and I lived at Indian Creek Camp and Ride in our camper for a couple of months while he worked a job in Kingston. Initially, we had wanted to be closer to his job, but let me tell you, this place quickly became worth the extra time in the car. The grounds and views are absolutely beautiful, and the owners are extremely kind and hospitable. We were so sad to leave because this place is worth every penny and we would stay again in a heartbeat.
Apr 17, 2025 · Gillian ThorntonGreat little spot and location! Very nice aesthetic touches to the unit! Only complaint is the fire alarm was very sensitive, even when making toast! Other than that, super friendly hosts and the unit was stocked with most everything you could need! We would definitely stay here again!
Apr 27, 2025 · Crystal DavisThe owners Tony & Mary are incredibly kind people! They were very eager to help with any customer service needs, recommendations, etc. that we inquired about, with a smile on their faces. We stayed in the big red barn and the aesthetics are beautiful! It really gives that “warm and cozy, country chic” feel. The Mountain View from the big red barn is stunning, and it’s a peaceful stay; at Indian Creek Camp & Ride.
Jul 28, 2024 · Alexandra HegemanWe stayed in Units 4, 5, and 6. They were each clean with good smelling sheets and towels. Kitchens in 5 and 6 were stocked with just the right cooking equipment. Tony did a great job giving us the run down on everything when we arrived. Between the pond, chickens, ducks, and overwhelmingly great atmosphere, we will certainly be back. Plenty of room for access and parking with our trailer. Our dog enjoyed the trip too. Thanks, Tony!
