Jewells RV Park Introduce
Attention local adventurers and those seeking a unique "camping near me" experience! While the name includes "RV Park," Jewells RV Park, located in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas (address: Mammoth Spring, AR 72554, USA), offers more than just RV sites. Based on recent customer reviews, this location features charming, rustic cabins situated on the banks of a river, providing a distinctive lodging option for those looking to connect with nature in the Mammoth Spring area.
For local residents in and around Mammoth Spring, AR, seeking a getaway that combines the tranquility of nature with the basic comforts of a cabin, Jewells RV Park presents an appealing choice. Its location "away from the hustle and bustle of the town" promises a peaceful retreat. Furthermore, its proximity across from the state park in Mammoth Spring offers the added benefit of easy access to the natural attractions and potential recreational activities available at the state park.
The accommodation at Jewells RV Park primarily consists of several "small very rustic cabins" rather than traditional RV hookup sites, although the name suggests RV facilities might also be available. These cabins are described as being "high above the river," potentially offering scenic views and a sense of seclusion. The emphasis here is on a more rustic experience, akin to "camping, but with indoor plumbing," as one reviewer aptly put it. This suggests that while the cabins provide basic amenities, they maintain a close connection to the natural environment.
Inside the cabins, guests can expect the essentials for a comfortable stay. Reviews mention that the cabins are equipped with what one needs "to sleep, eat, and relax." Specifically, Cabin #5, as described by one visitor, includes a small kitchen with a two-burner stovetop (note: no oven in this particular cabin). The sleeping arrangements in this cabin consist of one bedroom with two queen beds and a twin bed on top, making it suitable for families or small groups. Additionally, the front room features a couch that converts into a bed, providing extra sleeping space.
Despite their rustic nature, the cabins offer some modern conveniences. Guests can enjoy Wi-Fi access, which also supports internet TV, allowing for entertainment during downtime. The interiors are described as "beautiful" for those who appreciate a rustic aesthetic. The thoughtful layout includes an open front room connecting to the kitchen. One reviewer also noted that the bathroom in their cabin was surprisingly "roomy for such a small cabin," although another mentioned a "very small" bathroom with limited space around the toilet, indicating potential variations between cabins.
Each cabin at Jewells RV Park is designed to enhance the outdoor experience. A "nice deck with a swing and picnic table all under roof" provides a comfortable space to enjoy the natural surroundings, whether for dining outdoors or simply relaxing and taking in the views. For those who enjoy campfires and grilling, each cabin also features a fire pit and a charcoal grill, perfect for outdoor cooking and evening gatherings.
Cleanliness and hospitality appear to be strong points at Jewells RV Park. One reviewer explicitly stated that their cabin was "extremely clean" upon arrival. Furthermore, they praised the owners as "very hospitable," noting that they "made sure we had everything we needed" and were readily available since they live on the property. This on-site presence of the owners adds a personal touch and a sense of security for guests.
While the cabins are situated in a peaceful setting away from town, they are also conveniently located "close to downtown Mammoth Spring," offering a balance between natural seclusion and accessibility to local amenities and attractions. The river access point on the property is another significant feature, providing opportunities for fishing, perhaps kayaking, or simply enjoying the sights and sounds of the riverbank. The setting across from Mammoth Spring State Park further enhances the appeal for nature lovers and those interested in exploring the park's offerings.
According to one review, the current owners have been managing the property for about a year and are actively "making improvements daily." This suggests that while the cabins might have a rustic charm that some find appealing, the owners are invested in enhancing the guest experience over time. This ongoing effort could lead to further improvements in amenities and facilities in the future.
Considering the information available, Jewells RV Park offers a unique "camping near me" alternative for local residents in Mammoth Spring, AR, and the surrounding areas. It's not a traditional RV park in the sense of primarily offering RV hookups, but rather a collection of rustic cabins providing a comfortable base for exploring the natural beauty of the region, particularly the river and the adjacent state park. The emphasis is on a peaceful, nature-oriented experience with basic cabin amenities, enhanced by the hospitality of the owners and the convenience of river access.
There is no specific promotional information mentioned in the provided reviews. However, the unique offering of riverside rustic cabins, coupled with the proximity to Mammoth Spring State Park and the reported hospitality of the owners, serves as a compelling reason for local users seeking a different kind of "camping near me" to consider Jewells RV Park for their next getaway. It's an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with the added comfort and convenience of a cabin, all while supporting a local business that is actively working to improve its offerings.

Jewells RV Park Reviews
We found this little jewel of a cabin sitting on the banks of the river. A river access point is on the property. It is a beautiful setting away from the hustle and bustle of the town. It sits across from the state park in Mammoth Spring. The cabin is not a fancy place, it is actually a cabin, with what one will need to sleep, eat, and relax. There is a nice deck with a swing and picnic table all under roof. There is a fire pit at each cabin and charcoal grill. The cabin is beautiful on the inside (if you like the rustic cabin look). It has wifi with internet TV. The front room is open with the kitchen on one side. It is a small kitchen with a 2 burner stove top, no oven in cabin #5.(the one we stayed in) it has 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds and a twin on top of the queens. The bathroom was roomy for such a small cabin. The front room also has a couch that turns into a bed. The cabin was extremely clean. The owners were very hospitable. They made sure we had everything we needed. They also live on the property, so they are right there if needed. The cabins are located close to downtime Mammoth Spring. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at these cabins and will return. The owners have only had this property for a year and are making improvements daily.
Jul 20, 2024 · James DurenStayed overnight . The cabin is one of 6 small very rustic cabins high above the river. This is really like camping , but with indoor plumbing , wifi which is great , wouldn’t take much to spruce this place up, but if you like roughing it , it’s fine . Note : Bathroom is very small , barely enough space to sit on the toilet . Lol !
Feb 24, 2024 · Jessica Kelly JassoDifficult to get in and out of if you have a large camper and the place is not taken care of. I had to do some very creative leveling and driving around just to get back out and to find a place to dump my tanks that wasn't uphill from my site. Worked out in a pinch for an overnight stop, but certainly not worth the price I paid for the night.
Mar 27, 2023 · Russ GuajardoBeautiful campground, close to Mammoth Spring State Park. Awesome fishing in the spring river right down the road. Perfect place to camp out during spring float season. Full service hookups, RV dump station, tent spaces, and cabin rentals! And great prices!
Apr 18, 2021 · Amber FryeHaven't stayed but they look very nice...would rather them be in the country instead of right near the busy highway.
