Joshua Tree Lake RV & Campground Reviews
We really enjoyed our stay here over Easter Weekend. The grounds were really well maintained and the front office staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We loved the small general store they had on site and the duck pond was really relaxing. Our daughter loved feeding the ducks and running around - we even saw a rabbit hopping around! The campsite seem like they would be close together but they way it's set up, your spot feels very private and all other campers were very courteous during quiet hours. The staff even hosted an Easter Egg Hunt during our stay which was a hit with our daughter! We will absolutely be staying here again the next time we are in the area.
Apr 21, 2025 · Alexus SuarezThis campground is great. Campsites are large and comfortable. There are interesting features such as a pond and unique artistic structures around to check out. It has it's own little music festival area. Our family wasn't here for that but the venue looked awesome. Best of all is this campground's proximity to the Joshua Tree town and park entrance. It is perfect especially for RVers as this is as close to the national park as you can camp with an RV.The only negative was that in contrast to the woman who works here, the man was borderline rude and had a very bad attitude. Overall though we've had zero problems with the staff or the campsite except this one incident. I still highly recommend this campsite.
Apr 27, 2025 · Amanda MaybeeDid an overnight only stop. The staff was very helpful and courteous.Had a pull through full hookups site. Dirt site which might matter if you stay longer. It’s accessible down a pretty long dirt road. Decent enough condition when I was there. Everything was quiet. Nice view of homes in the distance on the mountains at night. Decent price for the site. They also have dump station.I would stay here again for a longer winter stay. It’s a little bit of a drive into the nearest town Twenty Nine Palms, but terribly long. Its distance from town is what makes it very quiet.
Apr 07, 2025 · Jennifer MacDonald, CCSThe plan was, I'd checkout Joshua Tree availability at black rock but every spot was already reserved but they had a list of outside campsites to try. This one was away from the main highway and track homes.I arrived on spring day afternoon 2025. I thought I'd reserved the 20th-22nd but I guess I missed read when asked when I'll be arriving. One of the camp host understood and was able to check me in early due to open availability. The spot given was pretty spot on. Away from pretty much everyone but close enough to the portable 🚻 bathroom and wash area with drinking water capability. I actually ran out of fuel for jet boil but they had fuel for sale. The first night was pretty quiet because it was Thursday but the next day people started rolling in, in the afternoon. Checkout is at 11 a.m. I paid a late fee of $ 10. Because I lagged packing. Here are some of my photos.
Mar 24, 2025 · cedrick samaniegoAbsolutely wonderful campground with wonderful people working there! Easy to access, easy to find, roomy sites, gorgeous scenery, a pond with ducks, clean sites and bathrooms. This will easily be one of my top 5 private campgrounds. Verizon signal is very good. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
