LaPine State Park Campground Reviews
Great campground 3 miles off highway. Open year round, water, electric, RV dump. Lots of hiking and biking trails, awsome!
Nov 09, 2024 · D GarrettGreat spot to relax. Close to many places. Beautiful dark skies and the river. We loved it! Extremely well hosted by John when we were there. Everyone was friendly, including the adorable ground squirrels!
Jun 29, 2024 · Anne WellesThe water gets shut off in October so we just have an electric hook up for $19 a night. The showers are decent and get hot, they keep the bathroom areas heated as well. The camp hosts do a wonderful job cleaning up sites and bathrooms. They are also very friendly; they even offered to take my trash for me. There are plenty of walking trails near by and you can’t beat the silence out here. You are truly in nature and it’s beautiful.
Oct 31, 2023 · Rebecca SheaGreat campground for the family, during the busy season, it's hard to get a spot, but in the office season it's the perfect launching point for all of your mountain adventures!
Oct 22, 2024 · The Evolving OutdoorsmanThis is a well managed park. LaPine has clean bathrooms, hot showers and Ice is available for $4. The bags are kind of small so consider getting ice prior ro arriving. There's firewood available and full hook ups if you want them. There is also an amphitheater available for presentatios or music. There is approximately 19 miles of single track for mountain biking. If you like road...try riding up to East Lake. Well paved road and good climbing with multiple options for water stops. Huntington rd to Prairie Dr..(.which is the entrance to the nationsl park) is a good transition with minimal traffic. Hiking trails are available and if you want to float or swim...this is a great place to do it. The only thing I don't like about this park is the garbage receptical is in one location...about a mile from the campground. Recycle is available but full while I was here.
