Fall River Campground Reviews
Flying fishing only. Amazingly clear water, and you can see the fish.
Nov 11, 2024 · Greg JohnsonWater is so pretty here! Couldn’t find the waterfall but still worth the walk. The water here is perfectly clear, and the flowers are amazing. Lots of fisher spots, but we just enjoyed the bridge and walking along the river.
Jun 24, 2018 · Emily KimesNice little campground, it's always booked all summer so reserve months in advance. Great place to go fly fishing especially for beginners. Experienced anglers unless mobility impaired can usually find better fishing in other sections of the river. Other than the crowding at times, it's a beautiful place to hang out!
Dec 20, 2024 · The Evolving OutdoorsmanFall River was beautiful! We stayed in site 4, and it was about 40 meters from the river, which was nice. We saw multiple fish in the river and enjoyed the trail along the banks. Campsites are nice sized and with decent privacy from neighbors, along with ample shade. There were surprisingly no mosquitoes, and that was very appreciated. It was one of the dustiest campgrounds we've ever stayed in. The dust was a little overwhelming. No water, so come prepared! Pit toilets are fine and well maintained. Directions from Bend are easy and you are able to stay on a well paved road for the entire route.
Aug 13, 2019 · Taylor LeBlancOne of my few favorites anymore.Small, quite, draws a pretty respectful crowd. People keep it clean (though this time around someone didnt pick up after their very large dog and it pooed in the toilet and drive and camp and swimming area). Ranger is friendly. Camp is small (maybe 14 spots). They have first come camp sites and some reserved (reserved is annoying to me when this used to be just first come first getting the spot). Not really camper friendly wich is nice. Tent camping is pretty much all we ever see here :-).
