Marilyn's RV Park & Old Country Store Introduce
Are you searching for a "camping near me" experience that offers more than just a place to park your RV? Look no further than Marilyn's RV Park & Old Country Store. While specific details regarding its address, phone number, or customer reviews are not provided in the initial information, the very name suggests a unique offering that combines the practicality of an RV park with the nostalgic charm and convenience of an old country store. This combination has the potential to create a memorable and convenient stay for RV travelers and those seeking a distinctive camping experience in their local area.
As an RV park, Marilyn's RV Park is primarily geared towards accommodating recreational vehicles of various sizes. This typically includes the provision of essential amenities that RV travelers rely on, such as hookups for electricity, water, and sewer. These full hookup sites are crucial for ensuring a comfortable and self-sufficient stay, allowing RVers to utilize their onboard facilities without interruption. The availability and quality of these hookups are often key factors for RV owners when selecting a campground.
Beyond the basic hookups, reputable RV parks often offer additional facilities to enhance the guest experience. These may include clean and well-maintained restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, and potentially Wi-Fi access. Some RV parks also feature recreational amenities such as communal gathering areas, picnic tables, and perhaps even designated pet areas. While specific details for Marilyn's RV Park are unavailable in the provided information, these are common offerings that contribute to the overall comfort and convenience of an RV stay.
The most distinctive feature implied by the name is the presence of an "Old Country Store." This suggests that Marilyn's RV Park offers an on-site retail space that likely provides a range of goods and perhaps even a touch of local charm. Old country stores often stock essential items that campers might need, such as groceries, snacks, beverages, and basic camping supplies. However, they can also offer a unique shopping experience, featuring local crafts, souvenirs, homemade goods, or even a deli counter serving prepared foods. This on-site store can be a significant convenience for campers, eliminating the need to travel to external stores for everyday necessities or a taste of local flavor.
The environment of Marilyn's RV Park is also an important consideration. While specific descriptions are lacking, RV parks can vary greatly in their setting. Some are located in more urban or roadside areas, offering convenience for travelers on the go. Others are situated in more natural or scenic locations, providing a more immersive outdoor experience. The name "Old Country Store" might suggest a setting that evokes a more rural or traditional atmosphere, potentially surrounded by natural beauty or offering a quieter, more laid-back ambiance. Without further information, the specific environment remains to be discovered, but the name hints at a potentially charming setting.
The combination of an RV park and an old country store could foster a unique sense of community and convenience. The store might serve as a central point for campers to gather, interact, and perhaps even learn about the local area from the store owners or other visitors. This social aspect, coupled with the ease of accessing supplies and potentially local goods, could make Marilyn's RV Park a particularly appealing destination for those seeking a more personalized and convenient camping experience.
To fully understand the offerings of Marilyn's RV Park & Old Country Store, it is essential to obtain more specific information. This would include details about the number and types of RV sites available (e.g., pull-through, back-in), the amperage of electrical hookups, water and sewer connections, and the availability and quality of other amenities such as restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. Information about pet policies, Wi-Fi access, and any recreational features would also be valuable.
Similarly, details about the "Old Country Store" would enhance the understanding of this unique aspect of the business. What types of goods are stocked? Are there any specialty items or local products offered? What are the store's operating hours? Knowing more about the store's offerings would help potential visitors appreciate the added convenience and charm of having this amenity on-site.
Information regarding any promotional offers or seasonal rates at Marilyn's RV Park & Old Country Store would also be beneficial for those planning a stay. RV parks sometimes offer discounts for longer stays, special rates during off-peak seasons, or package deals that might include goods from the store. Inquiring about such promotions when contacting the park would be a prudent step for potential visitors looking for value.
In conclusion, Marilyn's RV Park & Old Country Store presents a potentially unique and convenient "camping near me" option for RV travelers. The combination of RV facilities with the added charm and practicality of an on-site old country store suggests a distinctive camping experience. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the park's environment, services, features, and any current promotions, it is recommended to seek out further information through online searches, social media if available, or by attempting to contact the establishment directly if contact details can be found. Marilyn's RV Park & Old Country Store Reviews
We have stayed for 5 days. Even though we are by the airport we have had 2 planes land during the day. The place is shady by beautiful old trees. The store is very clean and has anything you would need. It's about 6 miles to the town of Mt. Ida. Several places to eat. Crystal digging is close. Been digging at the Avatar Mine. We have dug at all of them around here and have found them to be the best. There are tons and lots of herbal items in the store. Go shopping.
May 31, 2022 · Bev DuffleThinking of staying here? Don't. Bathrooms are only unlocked for a short period of time per day. Her amps are incorrect for a camper and can only run either the AC or the microwave. Not both. The AIR B&B on her page? It's one of two things: rundown mobile home or rundown camper. She said it's cute and modern, but it's not. It's incredibly rundown and for sale, so don't expect her to be around to help with ANYTHING. She doesn't answer phone calls or texts reliably. Save yourself the headache. Go to the National Park to stay. You will have better amenities. She's not saving you any money
May 23, 2023 · Goat CentralI love Marilyns little country store! She is always coming up with new items. I'm amazed at her selection. If I had an RV, I would totally stay there.
Sep 23, 2023 · Sally AdamsThis place has a little bit of everything. From Gourmet Foods to Health Food Supplies essential oils and raw local honey. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and there are few local craft and quite a few Antiques and interesting gifts. Definitely worth stopping by!
