Martin Dies, Jr. Campground Reviews
Our first time here and we will be back. Our spot Backes up to the lake. Fireplace and firewood available, wifi and phone connect is available bit we didnt use it much. Kayaks, canoes available for rent and lots of wildlife to observe. Staff was very friendly.
Sep 03, 2023 · Michael McDonaldGreat area, I think we came at the right time only about 4 other RV’s in the whole park. We saw no one on the hiking trails, which were nice. Rented a canoe for the afternoon and traveled around the lake, saw an alligator at one point, scared my wife 😲The fall colors were nice. Super quite and peaceful. If this place is like this all the time its a nice relaxing getaway.

Mar 27, 2025 · NebraskaCowmanWe found another hidden park near Houston . Love this place and will come back more.
Jan 03, 2023 · C NguyenThis state park campground was real fun. Lots of trails for hiking and bicycling. Unfortunately the bathrooms don't appear to be cleaned as there were tons of dead bugs all over the floors and shower areas. Bathroom walls are filthy. It is shameful and I wonder how much effort it would take to scrub down the bathrooms. Just use your RV bathroom instead.
