Quail Run Manufactured Housing Community Introduce
If you're searching within the "rv parks near me" category for a longer-term living situation in the Lenox, Michigan area, Quail Run Manufactured Housing Community is a mobile home park that appears in your search results. While not exclusively an RV park for short-term stays, manufactured housing communities often accommodate RVs for extended periods, offering a different style of community living. To help you assess if Quail Run might be a suitable option, let's objectively analyze the information available from recent resident reviews regarding its environment, services, and features.
Regarding the environment, one reviewer who "lived there peacefully and quietly AND CLEAN!!" offers a positive perspective, highlighting cleanliness and a quiet atmosphere. This suggests that at least for some residents, the community maintained a certain level of tidiness and tranquility. However, the second review paints a starkly different picture concerning safety and security within this environment. This reviewer recounts multiple instances of their car being broken into and the theft of a brand-new dirt bike in broad daylight, expressing a fear of potential home invasion. These contrasting views suggest that while some residents may experience a peaceful environment, others have significant concerns about security and property crime within the community.
In terms of services and management, the reviews raise serious concerns. The first reviewer mentions negative interactions with "Shelley and Wendy," who they describe as "bullies," alleging threats of fines, court, or eviction, and labeling them "money hungry and rude as hell!!" This individual also claims that despite leaving their property clean after hiring a service team, the management retained the majority of their deposit for "bullshit things they could come up with." This paints a picture of potentially aggressive and unfair management practices regarding rules enforcement and financial matters, particularly concerning move-out procedures and security deposits.
The second reviewer echoes a lack of care from management regarding security issues, stating that after multiple car break-ins and the theft of a significant item, "management doesn't care." This lack of perceived concern for resident safety and property is a significant service-related issue. The reviewer also mentions that "rent has doubled in a couple years," which, while not directly a service, impacts the affordability and overall living experience within the community. This substantial rent increase without a corresponding improvement in security or other services could be a major deterrent for potential long-term residents, including those considering it as part of their "rv parks near me" search for extended stays.
The features of Quail Run, based on these limited reviews, are difficult to ascertain definitively. The positive mention of a "clean" environment by one reviewer suggests that general upkeep might be a feature appreciated by some. However, the recurring theme in the negative reviews points to a lack of security and potentially unfair management practices as dominant features of the community experience. The absence of any mention of typical amenities often found in RV parks or manufactured housing communities, such as clubhouses, laundry facilities, or recreational areas, makes it challenging to highlight positive features beyond the cleanliness noted by one individual.
Considering these points, the features of Quail Run, as perceived by these reviewers, appear to be:
- Potentially Clean Environment: At least one reviewer found it to be clean.
- Security Concerns: Multiple instances of theft and break-ins reported, with perceived lack of management concern.
- Potentially Aggressive Management: Allegations of bullying behavior, unfair fines/evictions threats, and unjust retention of security deposits.
- Significant Rent Increases: One reviewer noted a doubling of rent in a short period.
From a promotional standpoint, it is challenging to find positive angles based solely on these reviews. The severe allegations of bullying management, lack of care regarding security, and unfair financial practices overshadow the single positive comment about cleanliness. For local users searching "rv parks near me" for a long-term stay, it would be irresponsible to present this community without heavily emphasizing the significant negative experiences reported by these former residents. Any promotional consideration would need to address and refute these serious claims with verifiable information.
For individuals in the "rv parks near me" category considering Quail Run for extended RV living, these reviews serve as strong warnings. The reported issues of theft and the perceived lack of management response are critical safety concerns. The alleged unfair treatment by management, particularly regarding financial matters like security deposits, adds another layer of risk. The substantial rent increase also impacts affordability.
For local users exploring "rv parks near me" for long-term options, Quail Run Manufactured Housing Community, based on the available reviews, presents the following summary:
- Potential Pro: One reviewer mentioned it was "peacefully and quietly AND CLEAN!!"
- Significant Cons: Allegations of bullying and money-hungry management, lack of concern for multiple security incidents (break-ins, theft), unfair security deposit practices, substantial rent increases.
Given the serious nature of the negative feedback, anyone considering Quail Run as part of their "rv parks near me" search for long-term living should exercise extreme caution. It is imperative to contact the management directly at (586) 749-8812 or +1 586-749-8812 to seek their response to these allegations and to inquire about their policies on security, rent increases, and move-out procedures. Visiting the community in person to assess the environment and speak with current residents (if possible) would also be a crucial step before making any decisions. The stark contrast between the single positive comment and the multiple severe negative experiences suggests that prospective residents need to conduct thorough due diligence.
In conclusion, while Quail Run Manufactured Housing Community might appear in a search for "rv parks near me" for longer-term stays, the overwhelmingly negative feedback regarding management practices and security raises significant red flags. Potential residents should proceed with extreme caution, conduct thorough investigations, and weigh the reported issues heavily before considering this community as their long-term living option.

Quail Run Manufactured Housing Community Reviews
Lived there peacefully and quietly AND CLEAN!! There was always an issue with Shelley and Wendy, they acted as bullies! Always threatening with a fine or court or eviction. Money hungry and rude as hell!! I moved out paying a service team to clean and with that being said they are keeping the majority of my deposit due to bullshit things they could come up with so they wouldn’t have to give me my deposit!!!
Jan 24, 2025 · Sylvia GuerreroCar has been broken into multiple times, rent has doubled in a couple years, brand new 16k dirt bike stolen in the middle of the day and management doesn't care, next thing I expect is a home invasion where someone won't make it, save yourself from this shit hole and move somewhere else where you won't be violated by garbage stealing your belongings constantly.

Jan 29, 2025 · John NoellIt’s good on the home side. But when it comes to the pool it’s kinda annoying they say they open at 11 yet every time I seem to go it’s either closed or they’re still cleaning it. I walked down there and was told it’ll be ready in 20 minutes. Yet an hour later still wasn’t open. Kind of discouraging makes me not wanna go anymore.
