Willow Point Introduce
For individuals and families searching for "RV parks near me" in the Harrison Township, Michigan area, Willow Point Mobile Home Park, located at 43400 Lenfesty Dr, Harrison Twp, MI 48045, USA, is a mobile home park that might offer long-term lot rentals suitable for RVs. They can be contacted at (586) 465-0424 or via mobile at +1 586-465-0424 for inquiries regarding availability and specific terms for RV stays. However, recent reviews from residents paint a concerning picture of the park's environment and management, which prospective residents, including those with RVs seeking a longer-term location, should carefully consider.
The environment at Willow Point, based on recent feedback, appears to be significantly impacted by drainage issues. Multiple reviews mention that "the roads flood every time it rains," indicating a potentially serious and recurring problem that could affect accessibility and the overall living conditions within the park. One reviewer notes that while the park claims to have sump pumps, they "won't stay on because the breakers pop," and maintenance is reportedly unresponsive when residents attempt to report these failures. While a later update from the same reviewer indicates that a drainage cleaning company was finally called approximately two months after contacting local authorities and posting the initial review, and that this resulted in no flooding during a recent major storm, the initial, prolonged period of flooding suggests a history of inadequate infrastructure maintenance. For those considering Willow Point as one of the "RV parks near me," the potential for flooding and the responsiveness of management to such critical issues should be a primary concern.
In terms of services, the reviews raise questions about the reliability and accessibility of maintenance at Willow Point. The difficulty in reaching maintenance to report sump pump failures suggests a lack of consistent and responsive service for residents. While the eventual calling of a drainage cleaning company indicates that issues might eventually be addressed, the significant delay reported by one resident is troubling. For RV owners considering a long-term stay, reliable access to essential services and prompt maintenance are crucial. The negative feedback regarding management responsiveness in addressing infrastructure problems should be a significant factor in their decision-making process. It is essential to inquire specifically about the park's policies and procedures for maintenance requests and the typical response times before committing to a stay.
The features of Willow Point, as highlighted by the reviews, are largely negative. The recurring flooding of the roads is a major drawback, potentially impacting the usability of the park's infrastructure and the quality of life for residents. The alleged unresponsiveness of maintenance to critical issues like malfunctioning sump pumps further detracts from the park's appeal. Additionally, one reviewer reports a negative interaction involving a dog that supposedly "charged" at them, with the management allegedly downplaying the incident. This raises concerns about pet policies and the handling of resident safety issues. The same reviewer also complains about being "woke up every hour by people blaring their music," indicating potential issues with noise levels and the enforcement of community rules, particularly with a perceived disparity between rules for renters and owners. These features, as described by residents, do not present a positive picture for prospective RV residents seeking a peaceful and well-managed community.
There is no positive "promotional information" to be gleaned from the provided reviews for Willow Point Mobile Home Park. The feedback is overwhelmingly negative, focusing on significant issues with flooding, maintenance, management responsiveness, and community disturbances. The update from one reviewer, while acknowledging an improvement in the drainage situation after external intervention, still only raises the rating to three out of a potential five stars, suggesting that underlying issues might still exist. For local users searching for "RV parks near me," the strong negative sentiments expressed by current residents should serve as a significant warning. Any potential promotional efforts by Willow Point would need to directly address and demonstrably resolve the serious concerns raised in these reviews to attract new residents and regain trust.
The information that the park is under new management is mentioned in one of the reviews, offered as a potential explanation for some of the issues, with the possibility that they are "just getting organized." While new management can sometimes bring positive changes, the current experiences reported by residents indicate that significant problems persist. Prospective RV residents should not rely on the hope of future improvements and should instead focus on the current conditions and the experiences of those currently living in the park. Thoroughly investigating the present state of the infrastructure, the responsiveness of the current management, and the overall living environment is crucial before making any decision to locate an RV at Willow Point.
In conclusion, while Willow Point Mobile Home Park in Harrison Township, MI, might technically be an option for those seeking long-term "RV parks near me," the available reviews present serious concerns regarding flooding, maintenance responsiveness, potential safety issues with pets, and noise disturbances. The fact that external intervention was required to address a major infrastructure problem like flooding, and the reported difficulties in contacting maintenance, should give prospective residents pause. While new management is in place, the current experiences of residents suggest that significant challenges remain. Anyone considering Willow Point for their RV should proceed with extreme caution, conduct thorough due diligence, and seek concrete evidence of improvements before making a commitment. The negative feedback strongly suggests exploring alternative "RV parks near me" in the Harrison Township area that offer a more stable, well-maintained, and responsive living environment.

Willow Point Reviews
**UPDATE**About 2 months after talking to the township and the county and posting this review they finally called a drainage cleaning company. They had trucks right outside my home for more than 2 weeks, but we had zero flooding with the recent massive storm. Changed from 1 to 3 stars. The roads flood every time it rains. The say there are sub pumps that won't stay on because the breakers pop, but maintenance never answers the phone when you try and tell them the pumps stopped.
Apr 09, 2025 · Maggie CappsIf you don't mind getting "charged" by a dog and then when you say the dog tried to attack me, you are told they "charged" you! And you don't mind being woke up every hour by people blaring their music?? Yeah it's awesome! I can tell you, I plan to move ASAP! My year lease is up. If you own ypu are not held to the same rulea
Feb 11, 2025 · DavidDirty place, dirty people, half the park looks abandoned. Unpleasant to drive through, the roads are falling apart. Nobody tips their delivery drivers!
Apr 12, 2025 · ROBERT MORRISI love how it says well maintained as the top review. lol.Inciting incidents for the reviewAfter three weeks of a vacant lot not being mowed I decided to call the office while the landscaping company was still on-site to remind them that the foot long grass needed cutting. I called a second time when I saw the landscaping company driving away with the lot still uncut.Went to the office to speak with the manager about nothing having been done to be told they were too busy dealing with other things and rude people. The manager walked away without offering any resolution. I yelled "pathetic" and walked out.The roads in this park are beyond atrocious. There are thieves living in the park. I had my car ransacked the first time I forgot to lock it. The park is overrun with feral cats and somehow simultaneously RATS!Sounds like their plate is full because they are too busy to make sure one lot gets mowed. Maybe time to hire someone more reliable.Edit: Squeaky wheel gets the grease.Edit: Back to one star after someone went under my home and stole a trail camera less than 24 hours after it had been placed. Seriously great neighbors here.
Oct 03, 2024 · Jeremy BeckVery friendly staff. We rented the club house for my granddaughters graduation celebration. The ladies in office are great. Michele even dropped the clubhouse key to my front door. Great communication and quick call backs when needed. Thank so much ladies .
