Beautiful place to camp. No water, no electricity, just you and what you bring.A short to medium hike to the south is the Ausable RiverPSA Please don't leave trash in your fire pit like some people do. Take it all with you. There are two small latrines, basically a small toilet room with a loan toilet over the septic tank. This place was a great balance between a traditional campground and being out in the bush somewhere. It was nice to be able to test equipment and see what it's like not having electricity and water, but still having the convenience of your vehicle in case you really need to charge phone or warm up etc. Early October weekend we had the place to ourselves other than a few vehicles that drove through. And one vehicle that parked on the opposite side to go for a hike or hunt of some sort. We will definitely go camp there again! - Perry Green
