One visitor described it as a "great park" that is "clean and very well taken care of," highlighting the campground's commitment to maintaining an attractive and comfortable setting. Another reviewer enthusiastically called it a "beautiful campground with 3 ponds," immediately establishing a key environmental feature that sets it apart. The presence of multiple ponds not only adds to the visual appeal but also provides opportunities for various activities.
The ponds are noted to be teeming with "plenty of fish and turtles," making Mystic Waters a potentially excellent destination for fishing enthusiasts of all ages and those who enjoy observing local wildlife. The addition of a "nice little beach and dock" further enhances the lakeside experience, offering a place to relax by the water, swim, and potentially engage in other water-based activities. The availability of a shaded power site, as mentioned by one camper, indicates that the campground caters to RVers seeking comfort and convenience while enjoying the natural surroundings.
Beyond the water features, the campground appears to offer a spacious and comfortable layout. One reviewer mentioned their site was "level" with "plenty of space between myself and neighbors," suggesting a well-planned campground design that prioritizes both functionality and privacy. Apr 05, 2025 · Doug DullThis is a beautiful campground with 3 ponds, plenty of fish and turtles as well as a nice little beach and dock. We took a nice shaded power site, and in addition to the view we had solid power with no faults. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, we arrived late due to unforeseen circumstances but got a call from Wendy letting us know she left our passes out for us even though the office would be closed on our arrival. The dogs enjoyed the scenery, smells of the outdoors. And we enjoyed a relaxing and easy camping experience. The bathrooms are being remodeled, so they are presently unisex, but you won't mind. You enter a common hall, then there are 4 stalls with doors latches, toilet, sink, and a shower all in privacy.
Mar 14, 2025 · Adam CavanaughWe needed an overnight camping site while traveling to see our son & found Mystic Waters through Good Sam. Wish we had been able to stay longer & enjoy the park. Clean and cute! We were there off-season so not much going on, but still lovely. A little pricey compared to what we usually find but the cheapest in the area! Ladies who helped us with the arrangements were super nice and made sure they saved us a nice, quiet site with easy access as we arrived late & had to leave early! Will stay there again!
Apr 23, 2025 · Pam TullochAwesome time on Pre-Halloween events. 30+ kids dressed up, art/crafts, trick n’ treat. Staffs are friendly and welcoming us. They put cute signs in ASL welcome us. We feel in inclusive and loved by staffs. We definitely coming back again
Oct 14, 2024 · rebecca piasekThis was the best way to do a concert at Deer Creek/Ruoff Music Center. The add on shuttle was awesome. The campground itself is beautiful, everything was clean and the setup is excellent. We stayed in a rustic cabin and it was great for two friends attending an event but there are other cabin options as well. The waters were beautiful and overall a great place to relax.
