Oasis Point - RV Campground & Adventure Lake Reviews
We just pulled after staying a month at the campground. The staff were great and very responsive. The owner checked in with us often to ensure we enjoyed our stay and to see if we needed anything. They listen when we voiced concerns and quickly jumped into action. It was very helpful that they have a sign by the life vest that have clear details about the rules for the lake and fishing. I was also thankful for the newly added life guards, they did a great job ensuring the kids were safe. We have always had a great experience when we camp here. We can't wait to come back. This is by far our favorite place to camp. ( guest tip, the sunrise is beautiful, go out sit and read a book with your toes in the water and sand).
Jun 30, 2024 · Helen WheelerThe Oasis campground was such a nice place to stop in & stay. My family & I live full time in our camper so coming across a nice campground, with a beach area including the zip line- slide & a nice little place for the kids to play is not often. The location is private yet- not far from Walmart, gas stations, & restaurants which usually with us we are always needing to run out and grab some last minute shopping. Not to mention- Diamond, was wonderful! ••To me communication is key!!! ALWAYS KEY when staying anywhere! I could not have had a better stay & am thankful that Diamond was always a phone call away for me or my husband and was always ready to answer any questions we had. We WILL BE BACK.
Jul 04, 2024 · Madison ChappelowSome positives and negatives to share. Check in was quick and the owner frequently checked in on residents. The zip line and slide were a blast. The facilities include kayaks, floats, and paddle boards. The floats on a first come first serve basis. There were only a few families there so the kids were able to have their pick. Unfortunately there were so many unspoken rules and regulations that it felt like the kids and adults alike were constantly getting scolded. I recommend they establish a checkout system where the life guards explain expectations with families or simply explain this during check in. We brought our golf cart and were told upon arrival that we’re not allowed to use it. This needs to be listed on the website. There are regular residents living at the campground dispersed throughout and we were told quiet hours begin at 10:00. A staff member provided us with a reminder when outside with a small group of friends even with low volume music and average voice levels. I suggest putting regular residents in one area together so they are not disturbed by weekend visitors. The website states no lifeguards on duty however there were hovering closely to tell us every 15 minutes what not to do. So much that we started to wonder if there was anything we could do. There were so many rules that we couldn’t remember them all. I wasn’t sure if I should be grateful for the extra supervision or by the constant scolding. Again this could have been avoided with a brief overview upon arrival or before entering swim area. This place has the potential to be a great weekend spot with a few changes.
Jun 30, 2024 · Amanda PurcellCelebrated my grandson 8th birthday at oasis. We had the best time. The young man who owns the venue even came to our site well after dark to help my daughters and I start our campfire! I hope to get to stay there again soon!
Jul 17, 2023 · Diana WattsOverall great experience, owner is very kind and family oriented. The swimming area was kind of small but after talking to the owner he explained that they are expanding the beach area. My son had a good time, there’s plenty to do out there for the family.
