Packsaddle Campground Reviews
Not easy to get to and rough camping, but a quiet picturesque beautiful place. Went in March and the nights got very cold, but daytime was nice. Had the place to ourselves during the week.
Oct 30, 2024 · JayBeeExplored up Big Wash Road to arrive here. Excellent and well maintained campsite with picnic area and grill/fire pits. Good restrooms and bear-proof garbage disposal if u don't pack out. Nice view and plenty to explore.
Nov 17, 2024 · Christian WalldorfPacksaddle is maybe 4 or more sites, split on either side of the road, and not far off the 9 or so miles of gravel road leading to it. There were many undesignated sites before getting to there. If you really want a pit toilet, this is it. If you can live without, you can save some miles.
Aug 08, 2024 · Neill ThompsonA little hard to find if you don't know where it's at off of big wash Road. You could make it there with a car but the road gets a little iffy sometimes. They do have plenty of campsites and it's right on top of the mountain with amazing views all the way around I wish it would have took more pictures. Great place to go camping you don't necessarily have to go camping on the top either there's tons a little cutouts on the way up.
Oct 04, 2019 · C TThis was a great campground, beautiful views, great weather in May, very nice facility and trash can/recycling bin. Very clean area. Peaceful and quiet.
