Panther Lake Camping Resort Reviews
Not a fan of this campground. Caters mostly to long term or permanent residents. Although we were glad to get an acceptable camping spot in this region, the vibe of the place is just random and not all that good. The lake is small and not much of it is accessible. NOT scenic to stay here.
Nov 14, 2024 · Kasia BennettLocated in Andover New Jersey this is a lovely campground . Beautiful grounds . Panther lake is absolutely beautiful . The beach area here is clean and kept very neatly . The office staff was amazing as well . They have Mini golf a basketball court basketball canoes a pool they have it all . It’s a kids playground and a parents relaxation time . There are no rooms located at this campground only cabins and campers are there . If you get the chance to camp here do so you won’t regret it .Edit to my prior review ; My daughter and her spouse and baby 1.5 yrs of age came to visit us for 6days and I informed the office so that I could pay whatever fee needed . Now remind you they weren’t staying with us they have a hotel room so for them to just get a gate code to get in and out with was 120.00 for 6 days . The employees said “ Well they are able to use our amenities at the campground such as paddle boats (water is cold ) or play tennis and golf ..Needless to say we can’t do any of those with a 1.5yr old but the playground .i just think that 120.00 for 6days for my child to drive in and out of here to visit us daily is a little steep of a price .it even almost feels greedy to me .
Oct 06, 2024 · Foxxy LoxxyThis is a great camp, I love the cabins, the mattresses are comfortable, the staff is very nice, they have a lot of activities, it is great for the whole family, the only complaint I have is that all the showers were flooded, I could not take a shower and I had to wait an hour and a half to take a cold shower, the small children did not tolerate the cold shower, the bathroom was super clean, which I love, but it would be very nice if the showers were remodeled so that this place is a five star.Thank you 🙏 it's a great place.
Aug 26, 2024 · Elizabeth LopezAdmittedly based on previous reviews I was extremely hesitant about booking here. BUT now that the new owners took over we are extremely happy that we did. Our stay was over Memorial Day Weekend 2024 and we were not disappointed. The staff was patient during reservations and very helpful. The campground is clean, family and pet friendly and the roads are perfect for a leisure bike ride and/or walk. There are plenty of activities to be done both on and off the lake. The pool is quite nice despite not testing the waters. Too cold for me. All of the kids didn't seem to mind. Conveniently located about 10 minutes off of Route 80 depending on traffic. Apologies for only 1 pic of the lake. This place was so relaxing we hit the lawn chairs on Friday afternoon and didn't get out until Monday morning lol. A strip mall with a shop rite is 2 minutes should you need any last minute items. I highly recommend bringing leveling blocks because some sites need them way more than others depending on where you are located. We will definitely return.
Jun 07, 2024 · Mark VenisIt's not really set up for Class A RVs. More suited for seasonal and weekend travel trailers (nice campground if that's what you have). But seasonal and travel trailer owners park their trucks right to the edges of the paved roads, making it very difficult to get in and out of camp sites. Also, trees with low branches encroach on roadways, so when avoiding the trucks at the edges of the road, you scrape the side of your RV on the branches. Also, make sure you have at least 3 sections of sewer hose to reach sewer connection.
