Peninsula Tent Campground Reviews
Camp here at least once a year. There are two bathrooms and water faucets spread throughout the area. You can access the beach and the dock with a short walk. If you leave coolers out, the bears will find it. We like staying up at night and chasing the bears away. Every site has at least one bear box. Lake is stocked with trout towards the beginning of fall, and you can catch easy limits.
Oct 13, 2023 · VitaliyBasic site - shady area with running water and in bathrooms. Bathrooms can use some cleaning and maintenance. We had a difficult 1st night trying to find a walk-in site - 1 for being later in the day, 2 for the fact that a nearby campground closed. We quickly left the next morning to the adjacent campground, however, due to group of maybe 5 families who partied until dawn. Apparently these sites have no camp host. Heard they weren't quiet for at least a couple nights. Their big speakers and drunken yelling did quiet down the 3rd night. There was a ranger who drove around the Peninsula. We enjoyed the lake the most and had a great time there.
Jul 22, 2020 · Thanh T.Nice "neighborhood". It was like a beautiful suburban getaway, entitled yoga pants, walking dogs on leashes with strollers allowing no respect for anyone's solace.Their grey-water "camping" is far more important than your primitive life. It's good if u like to buy firewood from the store.
Sep 12, 2022 · James JacksonAbsolutely beautiful up here, very peaceful and extremely clean camp sites. We will be back, thank you!
Sep 11, 2019 · Alexandra CraigVery nice campgrounds, but u better put ur food in the bear proof container, other wise Kevin the brown bear will eat it 😉. The Little Grassvalley lake is a great place to cool off
