Running Deer Campground Reviews
Been here twice now and love it! There are no showers and food should be stored in coolers and bins IN THE CAR! There are bears and they know what a ice chest looks like. It's warm during the day, it's cool at night it is the perfect camping experience!
Aug 22, 2019 · Maria “Luisa” PuentesVisited running deer 13 years ago ! And revisited this weekend! The camp grounds need new fire pits , the bathrooms are getting run down , and no camp host? Other campers were very load until 2 AM, campers where driving in the campground like it was a nascar track , campgrounds are clean and have easy access to the lake , it is a very beautiful area, deer walking throughout the campground was a plus .
Aug 12, 2018 · H HartleyIt's a great campground. Some sites can be reserved. Others are on come first basis. The lake is nearby. Bathrooms have flush toilets and kept clean. No host in 2022. Beware of bears. Don't leave food outside or in your tent. Unfortunately, only a few sites have bear boxes.
