Black Rock Campground

Strawberry Valley, CA 95981, USA

4.0
Great place for the whole family. The scenery is amazing, it is nice and quiet. No cellphone reception and no electricity which was fine with us. There are only a very few outhouses around but it is manageable for a few days. Once it gets dark, it is pitch black, so make sure to have some kind of light handy. At night, same curious bears might say hi, but they just passing through and leave you alone. Just make sure not to have open food in the tent. We had a perfect short family getaway adventure. - Sascha Fahrner
