Smugglers Notch RV Village Reviews
We had an amazing stay at Smugglers Notch RV Village! The sites are spacious, level, and full hookup (both 30 and 50 amp), with plenty of room to set up and relax. The campground is super clean and well-maintained, and we loved the Vermont Sugar Shack-style bathhouses—such a unique touch! The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations on things to do in the area. It’s a perfect location for exploring—just minutes from Smugglers’ Notch hiking trails and a short drive to Stowe, local breweries, and the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. The Wi-Fi worked great, the camp store had all the essentials, and the pet-friendly atmosphere made it feel like home (our pup loved it!). If you’re looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to stay while exploring Vermont, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!
Apr 03, 2025 · Lucas McCamyWe had the most wonderful summer and fall here! The owner is incredibly kind, helpful, attentive, and friendly, and runs the best campground we've ever visited! He has amazing recommendations for things to do in the area and takes great care of the campground and all the guests. We stayed for about 3 months and can't wait to return next season! Great spacious campsites, clean bathrooms, and gorgeous views and surroundings! See photo of the most unbelievable sunset reflection I've ever seen! Also great swimming holes, hikes, and restaurants nearby. Thank you for such a fantastic visit and we're so excited to return next year!
Dec 17, 2024 · Lauren BobyockLove it here!! This is an amazing RV Village site. So much care has gone into setting up a great experience for guests, the incredible owner and staff really go above and beyond! Can't wait to return!
Apr 24, 2025 · Nicole SwilpaLove this place! Will, his camp hosts and of course, Maple Bear welcomed us like family. It is obvious the love and thoughtfulness that is put into this campground because it is in the atmosphere there. It is clean, well thought out and quiet at night. And there is a lot to do in the area. Bonus. Our only mode of transportation is bicycles so with a list of Will’s suggestions, we pedaled around exploring the area each day enjoying the local offerings. We hiked near the covered bridge, played disc golf at this highly ranked, beautiful wooded course, picked apples at a nearby apple orchard farm, enjoyed a meal at a local restaurant and then relaxed in the evening under the beautiful Vermont sky.We enjoyed it so much we are planning on returning next season for a much longer stay.
Oct 03, 2024 · Whitney SpringobThis is a new campground so all the amenities and hookups are brand new. Which is nice. The owner Will is super friendly and extremely helpful to all of his guests. He even supplied us with a Google maps link to his personal favorites in the area. His dog is super cute and friendly as well. If you like start watching this, Campground is great because there aren’t really any trees to block your view. Keep in mind if you’re coming here with a trailer longer than 45 feet you have to come in from the north because you won’t fit through the notch.
