Reviewers consistently mention the private nature of the spots, indicating that sites are well-spaced, allowing campers to enjoy a sense of seclusion and tranquility. This is a significant advantage for those seeking a more intimate connection with nature and a break from crowded camping environments. The availability of "full service, full hookups" is another major draw, suggesting that the campground accommodates RVs and other camping setups requiring water, electricity, and sewer connections. The fact that at least one reviewer found their spot to be level is also noteworthy for RV owners, as it simplifies the setup process.

Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the lovely fall setting mentioned in one of the reviews. Camping during the fall in Vermont is renowned for its stunning foliage, and Maple Grove Campground appears to be an excellent place to experience this seasonal beauty. The fact that this traveler, with six years of full-time travel experience and having visited numerous campgrounds, considers Maple Grove their "favorite campground so far" is a powerful testament to its quality and appeal.
While the reviews are overwhelmingly positive, one reviewer mentioned "minor things listed by others" but emphasized that these were insignificant compared to their overall site and experience. This suggests that any potential drawbacks are likely minor and do not detract significantly from the positive aspects of the campground. The reviewer also highlighted that "The sites are not close together & there are some very unique & beautiful sites," reinforcing the earlier point about privacy and the aesthetic appeal of the individual camping spots.

Maple Grove Campground Reviews
Lovely private camp just outside Burlington, nice site and lovely in the fall. Easy access to Burlington but have to drive to nearest hiking. Full service, full hookups, our spot was level. Uber nice owner. Highly recommended. Great site from which to tour surrounding area like Stowe which is hard to find a spot at peak season.
Oct 15, 2024 · Phae DrusBEAUTIFUL campground with moss covered boulders & stones. I travel FT for work, 6 years. This is my favorite campground so far. Quiet, clean, very maintained. The owner Mike is beyond nice & accommodating. Absolutely loved our private spot. I picked raspberries every day right at our site. The minor things listed by others is nothing compared to our site & experience. The sites are not close together & there are some very unique & beautiful sites. We were here 2 months. Definitely would come back here & will be recommending to other hospital travelers.
Sep 08, 2024 · angela watsonSuch a nice find! A small campground (with spacious campsites) tucked away in the maple trees. Clean hot showers (25 cents/5min), a rec room, playground, horseshoes, and a little camp store! Not far from a lot of nice hikes and activities.
Oct 10, 2024 · Kristen PiccioloWe enjoyed our stay at Maple Grove Campground. Mike was friendly and most helpful. Grounds were kept tidy, and the restrooms were always clean. Some sites have grey water hookups, but none have black water hookups. There is a dump station, and you can arrange for the dump wagon to empty your black water tank. There are no washing machines, but there are dryers available. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.
Aug 26, 2024 · CJ CamperWhat an absolutely fantastic campground. Set in a beautiful Grove of Maple trees this was an amazing place to watch the leaves change. Mike, the owner is fantastic. He works very hard to keep that place spectacularly clean. His hard work did not go unnoticed. I had one of the water, electricity, gray tank sites. Which is a great option I haven’t seen anywhere else. Normally, it’s just water and electric. Having a grey tank port is perfect so I can do dishes and shower normally. Mike also comes around every Wednesday and for $10 will pump out your black tank. Top-notch serviceThey tap the maple trees right there in the campground and you can purchase the maple syrup inside. Big fan. Around the corners of the sugar shack and you can take a tour of the Sugar shack to see where the maple syrup is made. Doesn’t really get any more local.I’ve been to hundreds of campsites all over the continent. This is as good as you will get anywhere. It’s not really a place to go with kids to play. It’s a beautiful quiet campsite for travelers and people living the RV life . Extremely well-maintained by a fantastic owner. Highly recommend
