Sun Village Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Largo, Florida area, Sun Village, located at 12300 Seminole Blvd, Largo, FL 33778, USA, offers a community known for its quiet atmosphere and friendly residents. With phone numbers (727) 585-9731 and +1 727-585-9731, Sun Village appears to be a place where individuals value peace and neighborliness, making it a potentially attractive option for those seeking a tranquil long-term RV or mobile home living experience.
For those specifically looking for "RV parks near me" with a strong sense of community, Sun Village seems to foster a positive social environment. One reviewer shared a heartwarming anecdote about their father who lived there and "LOVED it." This resident was so well-regarded that the "Community foke wanted him to be their Sheriff b/c he cared so much about people and their right to have their plot, be respected, and live in peace." This speaks volumes about the close-knit nature of the community and the respect residents hold for one another. The management's playful response, encouraging him to share his musical talents instead, further suggests a lighthearted and engaging atmosphere within the park.
The same reviewer's description of their father as "Mr.Guitarman Andy" who enjoyed "lotza walkin and walkin while humming up another new song" paints a picture of a relaxed and perhaps active lifestyle within Sun Village. The fact that he felt comfortable and happy enough to become a beloved figure in the community indicates a welcoming and accepting environment for long-term residents.
Another reviewer directly described Sun Village as "such a nice quiet trailer park to live in." This reinforces the notion that the park prioritizes a peaceful atmosphere, which can be a significant draw for those seeking respite from the noise and bustle of more transient RV resorts or urban areas. The emphasis on "quiet" suggests that Sun Village might appeal to retirees or individuals who value tranquility in their living environment.
However, this second reviewer also pointed out a specific area for improvement regarding the park's amenities. They mentioned an issue with the laundry room, stating, "Only issue I have are the broken washers in the laundry room. They have four but only one kinda works, the lid falls off and you have to pry something under the lid in order to operate machine." This indicates a potential maintenance issue that affects the convenience of residents who rely on these facilities. The reviewer's suggestion to "cannibalize one of them in order to fix the other three" highlights the extent of the problem and a desire for better functioning laundry equipment.
While the positive feedback about the community and the quiet environment is significant, the issue with the laundry facilities suggests that potential residents or visitors should inquire about the current status of the amenities and the park's maintenance practices. It's important to have a clear understanding of the available services and their condition before committing to a long-term stay.
Given that Sun Village is described as a "trailer park," it likely offers spaces for both mobile homes and RVs. The long-term residency implied by the positive reviews about community and quiet living suggests that it caters to individuals seeking a more permanent or semi-permanent living situation rather than just short-term camping. As such, it would fall under the category of "RV parks near me" for those interested in extended stays within a stable community.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of the services and features offered at Sun Village, interested individuals should contact the management directly at (727) 585-9731 or +1 727-585-9731. Inquiries should include details about:
- Availability of RV sites and their amenities (hookups, size limitations, etc.).
- Rental rates for RV sites, especially for long-term stays.
- The status and maintenance schedule of the laundry facilities.
- Other amenities that might be available, such as recreational areas, community rooms, or pet policies (if any).
- The overall environment and any specific rules or regulations for residents.
Largo, Florida, is a centrally located city in Pinellas County, offering convenient access to beaches, shopping, dining, and medical facilities. Living in Sun Village would provide residents with the benefits of a quieter, community-oriented setting while still being close to the amenities and attractions of the wider Tampa Bay area. The address on Seminole Boulevard is a main thoroughfare, suggesting good accessibility to local conveniences.
While no specific promotional information is available in the provided reviews, the positive word-of-mouth regarding the friendly community and quiet atmosphere serves as an indirect endorsement. For those prioritizing these aspects in their search for "RV parks near me," Sun Village appears to be a strong contender. However, it would be prudent to verify the current condition of the amenities, such as the laundry facilities, before making a decision.
In conclusion, Sun Village in Largo, FL, offers a compelling combination of a quiet living environment and a friendly, community-oriented atmosphere, as highlighted by long-term residents. The anecdote about the beloved "Mr.Guitarman Andy" speaks to the strong social fabric of the park. However, the reported issue with the laundry facilities indicates a need for potential improvement in park maintenance. For those seeking a peaceful and welcoming long-term RV or mobile home community in the Largo area, Sun Village is worth investigating further, with a specific focus on inquiring about the current status of its amenities.

Oct 13, 2024 · Doug L.64This is such a nice quiet trailer park to live in. Only issue I have are the broken washers in the laundry room. They have four but only one kinda works, the lid falls off and you have to pry something under the lid in order to operate machine. If you have four and only one kinda works, might be time to cannibalize one of them in order to fix the other three.
Mar 24, 2023 · JTI want to give a shout out to Faith for doing a total 180 at this park. She has done an AMAZING job making it go from a place you want to stay away from to a place you want to move in. All of these people who are giving bad reviews talking about drugs or whatever are the people who are the ones bringing in the drugs and got evicted and are just mad that Faith got rid of them. She made the community safer. She is literally so nice and just wants everyone to feel safe where they live and I have spoke with multiple residents who all agree. She has gone above and beyond helping others.
Nov 21, 2019 · Taylor ElizasteguiI have no complaints. Faith is wonderful to deal with. Great with conversation. I get along with all the neighbor's. I would move my mother into this place. 5 stars.Everyone wants to leave a review when they get upset but no one's given a viable reason to get upset. Also after owning a home in this park for nearly 2 year's now, never had an issue with any bugs except a few ants.
Dec 10, 2019 · Courtney GarrettI have visited the park multiple times different times of the day. It’s always quiet and park seems some what well maintained. I can’t speak on the homes the park sell but as an investor we ensure newly renovated homes with new fixtures and appliances. We also debug and treat all our homes prior to selling them. I’ve worked with Faith and haven’t had any issues as of yet. I do know sometimes her delay is due to corporate and not her own intentions
