Heritage Village MHP Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" with a unique ownership structure and a strong sense of community in the Largo, Florida area, Heritage Village MHP, located at 12840 Seminole Blvd, Largo, FL 33778, USA, presents an interesting option. Unlike traditional rental mobile home parks, Heritage Village MHP operates as a resident-owned community where individuals purchase a share of the land. While primarily focused on mobile homes, understanding the nature of this community can provide valuable context for those seeking long-term living options in the region, potentially including insights relevant to extended RV stays or comparisons with other "RV parks near me."
One of the most significant aspects of Heritage Village MHP, as highlighted by a resident, is its ownership model. The reviewer explicitly states, "Not a rental park as you have to buy into a share of the land." This distinguishes Heritage Village from many other mobile home parks and potentially some RV parks where residents simply rent a lot. The requirement to purchase a share suggests a greater level of investment and commitment from residents, which can often foster a stronger sense of ownership and community pride.
This resident also describes Heritage Village MHP as a "Beautiful mobile home park," indicating that the community takes pride in its appearance and maintains an aesthetically pleasing environment. This can be a significant factor for those seeking a comfortable and attractive place to live, whether in a mobile home or potentially a long-term RV setup, if permitted within the community's bylaws.
Further emphasizing the positive community aspect, the reviewer notes that "Residents are very friendly." A welcoming and neighborly atmosphere can greatly enhance the quality of life for residents, fostering social connections and a supportive environment. This aligns with the sentiment expressed in another review, albeit one with a more personal and unique focus, which still implies a positive social interaction within the park.
In terms of ongoing costs, the resident mentions a "Maintenance fee" that is "currently $110 per month." This fee covers essential services, as the reviewer points out that it "Includes water and lawn service." The inclusion of these services in the monthly maintenance fee can provide significant convenience and value to residents, simplifying budgeting and ensuring that basic upkeep is managed collectively. For those considering long-term stays, understanding these recurring costs and included services is crucial for financial planning.
The second review, while primarily focused on a personal and memorable encounter with a resident resembling a deceased loved one, still implicitly supports the idea of a friendly community where interactions occur. The reviewer's anecdote about receiving a "pineapple" as a kind gesture suggests a positive social exchange within the park, reinforcing the earlier comment about friendly residents.
Given its nature as a resident-owned mobile home park, the typical environment at Heritage Village MHP likely includes:
- Individually owned shares of land: Residents have a stake in the community's property.
- Well-maintained grounds: The description of a "Beautiful mobile home park" suggests attention to landscaping and overall aesthetics. The inclusion of lawn service in the maintenance fee further supports this.
- Established infrastructure: As a more permanent residential community, it would have established roadways, utility connections (water, sewer, electricity), and potentially communal green spaces.
- A strong sense of community: The repeated mention of friendly residents indicates a positive social environment.
The services and features at Heritage Village MHP, based on the available information, include:
- Water service: Included in the monthly maintenance fee.
- Lawn service: Also included in the monthly maintenance fee, contributing to the park's upkeep.
- Potentially other amenities: While not explicitly mentioned, resident-owned communities often have amenities that enhance the quality of life, such as a clubhouse, recreational facilities (pool, shuffleboard courts, etc.), and organized social activities. However, their presence at Heritage Village MHP is not confirmed by the provided reviews.
- On-site management: A management structure would be in place to oversee the community's operations, collect fees, and address resident concerns. The smooth functioning implied by the positive reviews suggests effective management.
Regarding promotional information, none is explicitly provided in the reviews. The primary appeal of Heritage Village MHP, based on the available feedback, seems to be its resident-owned structure, the beauty of the park, the friendliness of the residents, and the inclusion of water and lawn service in the maintenance fee. For those interested in learning more about potential ownership opportunities or long-term residency, contacting the park directly is recommended.

Apr 13, 2019 · HarryNothing bad to say.. Did meet someone recently who lives in the park who looks so much like my boyfriend who passed away. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! My heart went into my stomach instantaneously! Thanks for the "pineapple". I still have it and oddly enough I believe it to be a gift from my "J.D.R."! The resemblance in features I was looking at. I still am speechless. I'll never forget that day. In memory of "J.D.R."

Oct 16, 2019 · Denise KentonThe reviews left by other people are not about the same place I stayed. I’m talking about the dump I stayed in on Seminole blvd. I’m sure the other place people are talking about is much better. The place I’m talking about is overpriced for what you get. Sorry mike but I gotta be honest
Jul 05, 2019 · michelle theriaultThis place is run by a bunch of morons nobody knows what is going on and pretty much one narcissistic lady at the HOA thinks she's God
