Peyper Fields Creekside Camp Reviews
What a wonderful, new campground! Jake was super nice and accommodating. We stayed one night while passing through town on a weekday. We felt a bit spoiled because we had the whole place to ourselves. At first, we were a little thrown off that the campground seemed to be right in town, but then you pull in and it’s like a whole different world! Plus, it’s nice that any errands you may need to run are just a hop, skip, and a jump away. It’s a wide open space with plenty of sites, fun yard games, trails down to the river, a beautiful shower house and communal coffee bar/sink area. They did a gorgeous job on the build to this place. Listening to the water while relaxing at your campsite is the best. Not going to lie, that bed was more comfortable than any hotel room I’ve ever slept in. I would definitely stay again and would recommend anyone else to as well. I wish Jake and this place lots of luck! Until next time! 😊

Jul 05, 2024 · Jacqueline van ZoerenCamped here at a primitive site while hiking on the FLT. Beautiful brand new place along a creek. Bathrooms are great. Have tents to glam camp in and lots of things for kids/families to do. Hostess super nice and accommodating! Easy to get to from the trail.
Sep 15, 2024 · Dianne McCormickSuch a great place to stay! The tents are so cute with very comfortable beds and they overlook the creek. They have the perfect amount of privacy. The owners are great! Super friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back
Aug 11, 2024 · Courtney LyonsRelax, unplug, and unwind at Peyper Fields! We just got back from an amazing 3 night stay at Peyper Fields. We had 5 children and 2 adults in our group and reserved 2 of the larger tents. I can not rave enough about this place! It is so beautiful and peaceful. The tents are large, comfortable, and cozy as they sit overlooking the river. My friend and I enjoyed having complimentary coffee on our decks every morning. The kids had “the best vacation ever”! They spent the days playing in the river, skipping rocks, running around the meticulously maintained grounds, playing tether ball and all the other yard games available. At night we enjoyed the campfires and s’mores and the beautiful star filled sky. I think one of the best parts about the trip, and this venue, is how “back to basics” yet still luxurious it is. The kids didn’t ask once for screens, tv, or video games. Instead, they were more than happy to spend their time outdoors and have rock skipping contests in the river. We also took a great hike minutes from the campsite and enjoyed the walking trails. The owners of the camp were so friendly and accommodating. Also, worth noting that the bathrooms and showers in the bath house were absolutely spotless and massive!None of us wanted our trip to end and we all can’t wait to go back! Peyper Fields is truly an undiscovered gem in Newark Valley NY.
