Pinewood Cove Resort Introduce
Are you searching for "camping near me" and considering a visit to the Trinity Center area of California? Pinewood Cove Resort, located at 45110 CA-3, Trinity Center, CA 96091, USA, with phone number (530) 286-2201 or +1 530-286-2201, offers a range of amenities and access to the natural beauty of Trinity Lake. Based on the available customer reviews, experiences at Pinewood Cove Resort appear to be varied, with some highlighting excellent facilities and staff, while others report significant noise concerns.
One very positive review from a Labor Day weekend visitor praised the resort, stating, "the staff were the NICEST people and the campsites were awesome!" This positive feedback indicates a welcoming and helpful staff, which can greatly enhance a camping experience. The reviewer, who was there with their spouse, also appreciated the location's proximity to outdoor activities, mentioning that they "day-hiked the Stuart Fork trail," which is about 3 miles from the resort. The availability of "flush toilets and hot showers" was noted as making their stay "nice and comfy," suggesting a level of comfort often appreciated by campers. Furthermore, the reviewer highlighted that the "Campground is very well kept" and boasts additional features such as "a pool and lake access, as well as access to a cool trail around the lake." Based on this experience, the reviewer expressed a strong intention to return, concluding, "We will definitely be back!" This paints a picture of a well-maintained resort with friendly staff, good amenities, and access to both lake activities and hiking.
However, a contrasting review raises a significant issue regarding noise levels. This reviewer stated, "They play blasting loud music until 2am that is easily heard across the lake and in surrounding campgrounds. (It sounded like a party on our shoreline, it was so loud!) It ruins the camping experience for everyone around this part of the lake. Nothing like trying to enjoy a campfire to rave music and constant screaming. Keeps young kids awake and can be very difficult to get any sleep. Please add a sound ordinance, even ending at 11pm would be improvement! Respect the time and money people put in to come to trinity and let us get some sleep." This feedback presents a serious concern about the potential for late-night noise that could negatively impact the camping experience for those seeking peace and quiet. The reviewer's description of "blasting loud music," "rave music," and "constant screaming" suggests that this is not just ambient noise but a disruptive level of sound that affects not only those at Pinewood Cove Resort but also those in surrounding areas. The plea for a sound ordinance indicates that this has been an ongoing issue for at least one visitor.
Considering the platform category "camping near me," Pinewood Cove Resort offers several attractive features, as highlighted in the positive review: well-kept campsites, access to Trinity Lake, a swimming pool, hot showers, and flush toilets. Its proximity to the Stuart Fork trail also makes it appealing for those interested in hiking. These amenities elevate it beyond a basic campground, suggesting a resort-style camping experience. However, the negative review about loud music late into the night is a significant factor that potential visitors should consider, especially if they prioritize a quiet and restful camping environment.
To get a more balanced perspective, it would be beneficial to seek additional reviews or contact Pinewood Cove Resort directly to inquire about their policies regarding noise and quiet hours. Understanding their approach to managing noise levels, especially late at night, would be crucial for anyone considering a stay. It would also be helpful to know more about the types of campsites available (e.g., tent, RV), the availability of hookups, fire pits, picnic tables, and any other amenities offered. Information about potential promotional offers or seasonal rates might also be valuable for those planning a trip.
For local users searching for "camping near me" in the Trinity Center area, Pinewood Cove Resort offers a location with beautiful natural surroundings and a range of amenities that could enhance a camping trip. The availability of a pool, lake access, and more comfortable facilities like flush toilets and hot showers sets it apart from more rustic campgrounds. However, the reported issue of loud music late at night is a serious consideration for those who value a peaceful outdoor experience. Potential visitors should weigh the positive aspects against the potential for noise disruption when making their decision.
In summary, Pinewood Cove Resort at Trinity Center, CA, offers appealing amenities such as a pool, lake access, well-kept campsites, hot showers, and flush toilets, along with friendly staff and proximity to hiking trails. However, there is a reported issue of loud music being played late into the night, which could detract from the camping experience for some. If you are looking for "camping near me" in this area, it would be wise to seek more information about the resort's noise policies before booking. Contacting Pinewood Cove Resort directly at (530) 286-2201 to inquire about this and other details would be a prudent step in your planning process.

Pinewood Cove Resort Reviews
We spent labor day weekend here, the staff were the NICEST people and the campsites were awesome! It was just me and my husband and we day-hiked the Stuart Fork trail, it's about 3 miles to the trailhead. The flush toilets and hot showers made it nice and comfy. Campground is very well kept, and even has a pool and lake access, as well as access to a cool trail around the lake. We will definitely be back!

Jun 17, 2024 · KristyNice people, but poorly maintained cabins.Things broken or dirty.BBQ didnt work so had to borrow neighbors.Towels and sheets we had to pay for ! And sheets were stained !Only one real bed. Not 6 person cabin as advertised. Futon not good for two adults or rubber mat in loft. Was very nice to sit out on deck and enjoy nature. GREAT fishing !!🎣.
May 31, 2023 · Laura MeyerVisited this place recently. Happened to be in the area and decided to stop in. It's closed for winter, but I like the overall look. Great for summer getaways, family reunions, team bonding and/ or summer camping trips. There's tent sites, RV spaces and cabins. I look forward to the spring opening.
Jan 10, 2024 · Lawrence JonesWe got a very tiny camp site partially on a hill (many sites were flattened). The hill blocked people from being able to sit or move around one side of the fire which really sucked; there was barely any space for chairs. It was also really steep and a couple people hurt themselves slipping on it, including one of the kiddos. Their website definitely needs photos of the sites so you know what you're getting. There were other sites that were much nicer. The owners seem like nice people though and overall the items and facilities around the campground seemed well maintained. There's a little store on site with snacks and cold drinks (and frozen snacks!) which was great. I'd go back, just would absolutely avoid the space we got before.
