Ponderosa Pine Campground Reviews
What a place! Tucked away on the side of Pittsfield State Forest and Balance Rock State Park, this incredible campground has beautiful grounds, great access to all types of recreational trails and is quietly hidden away off the beaten track. Yet, it's still close enough to Rt 7 and shops to get supplies at. Yes, there is a small junk yard up the road but you don't see it from the property and it does not interfere with the natural beauty of the location. I would definitely recommend checking it out!

Sep 15, 2022 · CloudTen StudiosI've lived in the Berkshires for 19 years and just discovered this gem. Beautiful, clear, spring fed ponds greet you near the entrance, easy access to Balance Rock State Park and Pittsfield State Forest for hiking, biking, snowshoeing and XC skiing. It's small and rustic but they are currently working on it and hope to return it to its former exquisiteness!
