Quaker Race Campground Introduce
For local users in Pennsylvania searching for "camping near me," Quaker Race Campground, located at 2295 Rosstown Rd, Wellsville, PA 17365, USA, presents a camping option to consider. However, it's important to note that recent feedback from visitors provides crucial insights into the nature of this campground, which potential guests should be aware of.
Based on the available reviews, the environment at Quaker Race Campground appears to be more rustic. One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction upon realizing there was no air conditioning or traditional bathroom facilities, indicating a reliance on porta-potties. This suggests that the campground may offer a more basic or primitive camping experience compared to those with more developed amenities. For local users seeking a no-frills outdoor experience, this might be acceptable, but it's essential to be prepared for these conditions.
Regarding services and features, the lack of traditional bathrooms is a significant point. The presence of porta-potties, as mentioned by a reviewer who did not appreciate the proximity of one to their camper, suggests that this is the primary or sole option for restroom facilities. Additionally, the absence of air conditioning was noted as a drawback by one guest, implying that campsites may not offer this comfort. It's also concerning that a reviewer reported having their electric pigtail stolen at the campground, which raises questions about security or the environment.
Another piece of feedback indicates that Quaker Race Campground might "not for little kids." While the reason for this statement is not elaborated upon, local users with young children may want to inquire further about the campground's suitability for families with toddlers or young children, perhaps regarding safety, available activities, or the general atmosphere.
The stark nature of the provided reviews, with one describing it as a "terrible place" due to the lack of expected amenities and the theft incident, paints a less than favorable picture. Potential visitors should weigh these experiences heavily when considering a stay at Quaker Race Campground. The absence of positive comments or mentions of attractive features makes it challenging to highlight any specific advantages based solely on this information.
No information about promotional offers is available in the provided reviews. Local users interested in potentially staying at Quaker Race Campground might want to contact them directly at (717) 856-7760 or +1 717-856-7760 to get more details about the facilities, services, and any current rates or promotions. Asking specific questions about bathroom facilities, the availability of electrical hookups (and any security measures in place), and the suitability for children would be advisable based on the feedback received.
In summary, Quaker Race Campground in Wellsville, PA, appears to offer a more rustic camping experience with a reliance on porta-potties instead of traditional bathrooms and no air conditioning. One guest reported a theft, and another suggested it might not be suitable for young children. These points should be carefully considered by local users searching for "camping near me." Due to the negative feedback regarding basic amenities and security, potential campers may want to seek more information directly from the campground before making a decision.

Quaker Race Campground Reviews
If I knew it was no ac or bathrooms I would've kept it in my driveway. I don't want smell a port a pot next to my camper. Someone took my electric pigtail too. That's sad to get your stuff stolen. Terrible place.
