R and R RV Campground Reviews
Been around some and this is by far the best rv campgrounds I have been to. Tim is as nice a fellow you could ever meet. The campgrounds are very well kept, the bathhouse was the cleanest I have ever encountered.Would give it a 10 stars if I could. We like to stay between places we want to visit and this is down in the valley and close to Falls Creek Falls, one to Dunlap and Pineville. We drove to Cleveland to vist a sister and drove to Chattanooga for the sea lights at a park there. Easy to find and get in to. Just follow the signs to the stop sign and Tim will come meet you.Enjoyed the chickens on the north side and the Mexican cows on the south side.
Mar 31, 2025 · Guy PhelpsWe only spent one night at the R&R campground, but it was very nice. Tim greeted us at the stop sign and walked us up to the camp site. He guided us in and even placed a leveling rock on one side (I was kind of to one side instead of centered). While socializing, I mentioned that I had destroyed my AC cover after hitting a low sign and he offered to help make a temporary repair. Not only that but he had an old AC cover that he offered to give me. We climbed up on the roof and got things sorted out. Above and beyond all expectations! The campground is neat and tidy, and the landscaping is beautiful. The sites are spacious and in my opinion reasonably priced.Tim is an outstanding host, friendly and sociable, and we definitely will stop again if we are in the area.Try it, you'll like it!Dale & Barb Hering
Sep 22, 2024 · dhering11The grounds are meticulously well maintained, as is the bath house. The owner is incredibly nice, helpful and knowledgeable. It is evident that he takes pride in the grounds and in customer service. The place has a fun railroad theme. The location makes for a great base camp for exploring Fall Creek Falls State Park, Cumberland State Park, Chattanooga, the gorgeous Sequatchie Valley and its quaint little towns. A lazy little country road runs along the side of the campground and leads to a picturesque horse farm a half mile away. It makes for a great morning or evening walk. Rates are reasonable as well.
Oct 08, 2024 · Paul BarnardTim, the owner was amazing! Best Internet we’ve had in weeks!!Tim, the owner of this RV park, was amazing from beginning to end!We were trying to find a campground last minute on a busy holiday week. He squeezes us in, with full hook ups since it was 90° with 50% humidity. He let us check in early, because he knew we were going to do a cave tour. He gave us advice, and let us know that the cave was on a different time zone, otherwise we would’ve been an hour late. He gave us other suggestions for drives, hikes, tours, and things to see. When we first arrived, he was right there with his level, raked the rocks to make sure we were completely level side to side. The grounds are beautiful, he does an amazing job with all the greenery. His prices were more than fair, in our last six weeks of camping. This was the best Internet we got, and some of the places were 2 to 3 times more expensive than his.We would definitely go here again! As a bonus, he told us about a walk to do in the evening, it was beautiful, and we were able to catch a jar of fireflies, which, since were from Arizona, we had never experienced.
Jun 22, 2024 · Paula StopperThis is a wonderful gem of a campground located in Sequatchie Valley. The area is an outdoor enthusiasts mecca with plenty of opportunities for hiking (waterfalls abound), kayaking, and even paragliding (Tennessee Tree Toppers). But the best part of this area is the people and that includes the campground's owner, Tim. There are 17 full hook-up sites and Tim offers full service - he even helps to level your camper when you arrive. All the sites are situated facing north so you have shade while enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains. There is a lovely bathhouse with 3 full, homestyle, bathrooms which are kept very clean. You'll find Tim feeding the cows, chickens and other animals on neighboring properties every morning. Tim is full of knowledge on the area and loves to chat with his customers. Bonus: There are two disc golf baskets to practice and improve your skill and Tim is surprisingly good! We paid $35.10 per night with a discount for a full week. Otherwise, it was $40.95 per night.
