Raven Winds Campground Reviews
Lovely spot next to the lake with lots of hiking and fishing. Perfect for the outdoorsman to get away from the city lights and the sound of the highway. If your child is in the scouts, never a better place than here to allow them to show off their skills. They want to share that love of the great outdoors with people near and far.
Feb 10, 2025 · Jacob GoldingThis is a great retreat, far removed from the city. I love camping in these woods rain or shine. The campgrounds are situated on a bluff high above the lake shore. There is an abundance of wildlife everywhere you look. I've seen many animals including bald eagles and scorpions! There is a good swimming area and boat ramp a few miles west of the campground. On this particular weekend, when I took these pictures, it had rained a lot and Truman Lake (Reservoir) was up very high. There were about a dozen other tents, but there was a lot of space at the campgrounds and no need to be right next to each other.
Sep 10, 2018 · Michael DominickEpic camping. Incredible adventures here. Check Out Mountain Project if you’re into climbing there are a few 50ft boulders with bolted routes a short canoe away. No canoe rental so bring your own and get out on the water!
