Camp Coeur d'Alene Reviews
Beautiful Location! very tranquil. the new owner is making wonderful changes to the property. We stayed in cabin 102. it was very clean and we loved sitting on our porch and roasting s’mores in our fire pit area. We definitely look forward to visiting again!
Apr 26, 2025 · Katie FrederickOur site was clean and a good size. Free access to paddle boat and canoes. The pool was checked every evening and the staff was super friendly. Firewood was available for purchase as well. The only downside was the wasp issue, however it is to be somewhat expected in August just about anywhere you go. They had wasp traps everywhere and changing them so it was not from a lack of effort. All in all it was a beautiful campground.
Aug 13, 2024 · Chris CarraoGreat campsite. The management keeps the place clean and organized. We tent camped and almost all the sites have a nice shady tree for those hot summer months around there. Also, it's great to have a hot shower and hot water for washing, laundry and dishwasher. And what was a real surprise was even though this site is well out of town from Coeur D'Alene, there was a really good, first class Italian restaurant on the lake nearby. As I would say when you are on the road " what a find".
Sep 24, 2024 · christian soltendieckThe website is beautiful and the campground is NOT! I wouldn’t even leave a bad review if the pictures had showed me what to expect. But I feel like it was completely FALSE advertising. We ended up getting a spot at a different campground after the first night of our trip, and just eating the cost of this one. The spots are so small that our kids had nowhere to play unless we walked them somewhere else. It’s all gravel and a steep hill so they couldn’t even ride bikes. The tent spots looked better…wish we could’ve parked our camper there. But the camper spots honestly sucked. The people that worked there were rude and not welcoming either. I wish the campground matched the beautiful pictures on the website, but they do not. It is not on water like it seems like either. Just a marsh.
Aug 18, 2024 · Valerie Tracht2nd time here but now is in bankruptcy. When I paid in the spring for my September 2024 spot, firewood was included. That was not honored. We paid $98 extra for small bundles that were more kindling size. We enjoyed both a beautiful campsite and a 6 bed cabin. Only 2 canoes are left onsite for use (2 person canoes). Pool leaks and cold water added daily...too cold for use. Problems with showers in the men's. We still had a great time and the staff was both informative and very nice. Am hoping whoever purchases this property keeps it as recreation and affordable. It is a lovely area.
