Rv spot Introduce
For RV enthusiasts and travelers utilizing the "RV Parks Near Me" category, "RV Spot" in Monticello, Minnesota, presents itself as a highly convenient and enjoyable destination. Located at 1335 River St, Monticello, MN 55362, USA, this RV park is celebrated for its exceptional location, welcoming atmosphere, and practical amenities, making it a compelling choice for both short weekend getaways and extended seasonal stays.
The environment at RV Spot is significantly enhanced by its riverside location. Situated directly on a river, it offers a tranquil and scenic backdrop for campers. This direct access to the water is a major draw, particularly for those who enjoy fishing, as highlighted by a customer review noting the "fun due to the amount of fish everyone was catching." The presence of the river contributes to a peaceful ambiance, with the sounds of flowing water and opportunities for riverside relaxation. Beyond the immediate riverfront, the park is described as having "clean and well kept grounds," indicating a commitment to maintaining a pleasant and tidy environment for all guests. The overall setting combines natural serenity with the convenience of being "on the edge of a neat town," suggesting a balance between outdoor escape and access to local amenities. While specific details on the tree cover or landscaping are not provided, the emphasis on well-kept grounds implies a conscious effort to create an inviting outdoor space.
In terms of services, RV Spot provides a comprehensive range of amenities designed to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free stay for RVers. The park offers "clean indoor bathrooms and showers," a crucial feature for any RV park, especially for those in smaller rigs or tent campers who rely on park facilities. The availability of clean and well-maintained personal hygiene facilities significantly enhances the overall camping experience. While not explicitly stated, it is reasonable to assume that RV Spot provides full hookups (electricity, water, and sewer) at its individual sites, as this is a standard expectation for a park catering to both short-term and extended stays for RVs. The park also features a "laundry" facility, adding a layer of convenience for those planning longer visits. For families, the presence of "a park for children" is a significant service, providing a dedicated and safe space for younger campers to play and burn off energy. The direct access to the river for fishing is also a key service, offering a popular recreational activity right on site. The park is managed with a strong personal touch, as indicated by a review praising the owner for being "very present" and the employees for being "very personable," suggesting a high level of customer service and attentiveness to guest needs. Contact information for inquiries and reservations is readily available via phone at (763) 295-2264 or mobile at +1 763-295-2264.
The features of RV Spot are designed to maximize both the convenience and enjoyment of its guests. The most notable feature is its prime location, offering "amazing" convenience. This implies easy access to the park itself and likely to nearby roads and attractions in Monticello. The park's direct river frontage is a standout feature, providing opportunities for various water-based activities, particularly fishing. The "park for children" (likely a playground) caters specifically to families, making it an attractive destination for those traveling with kids. The "clean indoor bathrooms and showers" are a testament to the park's commitment to guest comfort and hygiene. The fact that the "spots are limited" suggests a potentially more intimate setting, where quality might be prioritized over sheer quantity, possibly contributing to a more peaceful and less crowded atmosphere. The park's ability to accommodate both "weekend get away" and "whole summer" stays speaks to its versatility and appeal to different types of RVers, from those seeking a quick escape to those looking for a seasonal base. The consistently "well kept grounds" reflect a dedication to maintaining a pleasant aesthetic and functional environment. The friendly and present management, along with personable employees, creates a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience for visitors.
Promotional information for RV Spot, when presented under the "RV Parks Near Me" category, would heavily emphasize its key advantages to local users. The primary selling point would be its "amazing convenience" and desirable riverside location, highlighting the unique opportunity to fish directly from the park. Images showcasing the riverfront, the well-maintained grounds, and potentially the children's park would be central to its visual promotion. Testimonials from satisfied customers, like those provided, would be invaluable in conveying the positive experiences of previous guests, particularly the commendation for the clean facilities, friendly staff, and great fishing. Promotional messaging would target both short-term and long-term campers, explicitly mentioning the suitability for "weekend getaways" and "stay the whole summer." The park could also highlight its proximity to attractions within Monticello, leveraging its "neat town" aspect. Special offers might include discounted rates for extended stays (e.g., weekly or monthly rates) or perhaps early bird booking incentives. Given that "spots are limited," promotional efforts should encourage prospective campers to book in advance, especially during peak seasons, and clearly provide the contact numbers (763) 295-2264 and +1 763-295-2264 for reservations and inquiries. Highlighting the presence of clean indoor bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities would reassure campers about the comfort level. Ultimately, RV Spot would be positioned as a top choice for RVers seeking a clean, convenient, and friendly riverside retreat with excellent fishing opportunities in the Monticello area.

Feb 08, 2025 · Ray SlaightAwesome experience. Stayed for a month while working in the area. Owner is very present. His employees are very personable. Clean and well kept grounds. Watching people fish in November in the river was fun due to the amount of fish everyone was catching. Nice place on the edge of a neat town. Highly Recommend going here.
Sep 25, 2024 · Bobby LeePretty nice location but a lot of loud arguing from a small rv night after night making sleep impossible with the horrid things the male was screaming at the female
Apr 13, 2025 · Trisha LenartManagement doesn’t care about campers safety and complaints have been staying here for 6 months and had someone attemp to break in while I was alone after asking if I was a prostitute and when I brought up concerns to management I was ignored could have been assaulted and nothing was done. Multiple rvs were damaged by falling trees and the owner has said that the renters should have insurance even though it’s his responsibility to maintain his property and make sure that doesn’t occur. Renters being allowed to dismantle vehicles in the grass and block the road access. Bathrooms have been shut down for 2 weeks without notice and no way to know if they will reopen and Owner allows year round camping without having a permit or proper hookup to do so
Oct 02, 2024 · Brittany NelsonWe had two very restful nights here right along the river. The camp management was very accommodating and friendly. It is well maintained and easy to get into. Many campers are here long term and the environment felt safe and welcoming. I love the patriot feel of this camp that is nestled at the back of a trailer park. It was cold and wet when we stayed but would be beautiful in good weather. Highly recommend it for the serious traveler.
