One reviewer specifically mentions having a spot "maybe 30 yards from the lake" with "gorgeous" views and enjoying sunsets by the fire pit in the evening. This paints a picture of a tranquil setting where campers can relax and appreciate the natural beauty of the lakeside environment. While described as "not a resort," the focus appears to be on the inherent appeal of the natural surroundings, particularly the waterfront.
In terms of services, Roberts Landing Campground seems to provide essential amenities for a comfortable camping experience. The presence of a "dump station" with an "easy pull in/back out" design is another practical service appreciated by RV travelers. The staff, particularly someone named Tom, received exceptional praise for being "great help getting to the sites" and for checking in with guests throughout their stay, indicating a commitment to customer service and ensuring a smooth experience. The availability of restrooms is also mentioned, with one reviewer noting that while they didn't heavily utilize the bathhouse, the restroom they used was "not bad." The key features of Roberts Landing Campground revolve around its waterfront location and its suitability for both RV and tent campers who appreciate a more natural and less amenity-driven experience. The proximity to the water is undoubtedly a major draw, offering potential for scenic views and a relaxing ambiance. The campground's ability to accommodate a large group of 14 RVs for a weekend rally indicates its capacity and suitability for group outings. However, a crucial feature mentioned by a reviewer is that "sites along the water are not level," advising campers to "bring boards" for leveling. This is an important piece of practical information for potential visitors. The availability of fire pits at the campsites is also noted, enhancing the traditional camping experience with opportunities for campfires and enjoying the outdoors in the evening.

Roberts Landing Campground Reviews
This is a nice waterfront campground. It is not a resort. Power was consistent throughout our stay. Staff (Tom) was exceptional and great help getting to the sites and checked in throughout the weekend. We brought 14 rigs for a weekend rally and had a wonderful time. Sites along the water are not level so bring boards and also power extension chords. Dump station is an easy pull in/back out. I hope they make improvements to the site leveling but don’t do too much to make it so popular that we can’t get in again!!
Aug 11, 2024 · Ralph Volk & Barb DerianIf you have a camper and are self sufficient this place is great! We saw the reviews about the bath house, but we didn’t need it. (I did use the restroom before we left and it wasn’t bad.) We had a spot maybe 30 yards from the lake. It was gorgeous. We sat outside by the fire pit in the evening and watched the sun go down. The owner is very friendly! The value is fantastic. Again, if you are looking for a place to park your camper or tent to sleep in, and don’t need a bunch of amenities (pool and other stuff) this place is great! It served us quite well and we would absolutely stay there again. The views are beautiful!
Aug 11, 2024 · Melissa VigneauxNo frills campground, but it's still perfect! Right next to the water, no noisy neighbors, the occasional truck on the road, but a nice place. With all the recent rain there are electric issues on some sites, but they have extensions and solutions. Ground is a little unlevel in spots, but we were fine.
Aug 23, 2024 · Conor TreacyWe pulled up, and immediately were greeted. I was taken by golf cart around the entire camp site to specifically choose which spot I wanted. Saturday night was semi-crowded, and Sunday night we had the whole beach line to ourselves. Our view was amazing (see photos). The firewood is cheap, and the gentlemen who helped us were all very accommodating and friendly. Yes the bathrooms are run-down, but the toilets and sinks were clean. If it was peak season, our experience might have been totally different, but thankfully it was late enough in the season where everything worked out perfect. It is also cheap to stay here per night. The price, views, and customer service were all A+, I would 100% return.
Aug 31, 2023 · Charlie DionleGreat location close to Mackinaw City but far enough away from the crowds. Absolutely stunning views of the lake. You can see the bridge from the campground. Some of the spots are basically right on the beach. We showed up late on a Saturday night and Walt welcomed us and let us pick out a site. We ended up staying in some tents he had already set up with queen sized air mattresses and clean bedding inside. It was super convenient since we were only staying for one night on our way up north. The campground is on the small side and was pretty full, but everyone was respectful and reasonably quiet. There was plenty of firewood available to purchase. The bathrooms were clean. 100% will come back again and would recommend.
