The well-maintained grounds contribute to the overall appeal, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for all visitors. You'll find yourself surrounded by the natural beauty of North Carolina, offering a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
One of the key features praised by campers is the spaciousness of the sites. According to a review, the sites are "spacious and level," which is particularly beneficial for RV campers and those with larger tents. Having ample space allows for comfortable setup and ensures you have enough room to relax and enjoy your surroundings without feeling cramped. The level ground further adds to the convenience, making it easier to park your RV or pitch your tent securely.

Whether you're looking for a leisurely stroll or a more invigorating hike, the trails cater to various fitness levels and preferences.
Adding to the camping experience are the provided fire pits with grates at each site. These fire pits are perfect for cozy evenings under the stars, allowing you to build a warm fire for cooking, roasting marshmallows, or simply enjoying the ambiance. The inclusion of grates makes it convenient to prepare delicious meals outdoors, enhancing the traditional camping feel. Imagine gathering around a crackling fire with family and friends, sharing stories and creating lasting memories.
While the campground receives high praise for its beauty, tranquility, and amenities, one reviewer noted that it would be a "5-star campground if they had full hookups." This indicates that currently, Rolling View Campground Loop A may offer partial hookups or no hookups at all. Tent campers will find the lack of full hookups less of a concern, as they typically rely on the campground's central facilities.
The positive reviews also highlight the courteous and helpful nature of the campground staff, with the exception of one isolated incident mentioned in a review. Generally, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment from the staff members who are dedicated to ensuring you have a pleasant stay. Rolling View Campground Loop A Reviews
Very beautiful well maintained campground. Except the morning ranger everyone was courteous and helpful. It was cold but my dogs and I went for a hike and loved every step.
Dec 04, 2024 · Tara McManusNice quiet campground. Spacious, level sites. Walking trails. Firpits with grates. Would be a 5-star campground if they had full hookups!
Oct 15, 2024 · Cynthia JordanThis place is amazing!!! Great spacing with the campsites so you actually feel like you are out there in the woods some where. The lake is beautiful and the trails make the place seem bigger than it actually is. The bath houses were adequate and really clean. So the fact that they didn't have sewer connections was not an issue. There was no 50 amp service but the 30 amp adapter i had was able to run both a/c units and the microwave without an issue. The dump stations were conveniently located on the way out and had water hoses to rinse down if needed. I believe this is a new favorite for us now.
Jul 03, 2020 · KSRolling View campground is a very nice facility. We have stayed here on several outings since we purchased our Class A motorhome September 2018. It has become one of our go to place since its only three hours from our home in New Bern NC. There are nice wooded semi private sites mostly off of the Falls Lake. Roads are paved, sites are gravel with varied degrees of level. Fire rings and picnic tables are located at each site. RV sites have 30 and a 10 amp receptacles. There is also water located at each site. The general appearance of the park very pretty. It has rolling hills surrounded by beautiful hardwood forrest with lots of wildlife including birds, grey squirrels, rabbits, deer and others. It's a very peaceful, pleasant place to unwind. There is a fishing pier located on B loop.We haven't used any of the bath/shower facilities so I can't comment on those. There is a sewer dump located near the park entrance. Unless you want to do multiple setups I would highly recommend a portable potty tank for convenience.Overall I would have rate the park Five Stars. I only chose Four because 50 amp service would be a great option for units with multiple AC unit operation during very hot weather! Unfortunately, larger RVs do get quite warm with high temps but are still manageable if start cooling early morning so you can help get past the peak high temperatures.
Sep 25, 2019 · Ronnie Wetherington (Ron)Beautiful park. The park recently reopened after renovations to all electrical and water services.Sites are very large with plenty of space between sites. I am in A13 and can barely see my neighbors.Heavily shaded so Starlink is hit or miss, mostly miss in this site.
