Rye Camp Reviews
I took my girlfriend for her birthday Saturday and Sunday and we absolutely loved every bit of it. The evenings are peaceful and quiet and the fire is warm. We stayed in aster with a king sized bed a couple chairs and a table. We cooked over the fire with a cast iron skillet and made steaks and potatoes brats with onions and peppers. There are games at each site, and we left a frisbee for cuter campers. We will most definitely be back soon and we may have found our little get away. I can not stress enough how peaceful it is. The people that run it are good and honest people just sharing their love of the outdoors with everybody else. The prices are quite reasonable especially because you don’t have to haul a tent or bedding or chairs or nothing. All you gotta bring is some cloths food beverages and a good attitude and you will have the time of your life. Hands down 10/10.We were the only ones there for our two days and wandered around and all the other areas are just as adorable and welcoming as aster.Give this place a try and I’m pretty sure you will love it just as much as we did.
Aug 13, 2024 · Jordan LinkRye Camp is amazing! My husband and I brought our dog and had the best time during our one-night stay in one of the canvas tents. The grounds are beautiful with plenty to explore, and the amenities were wonderful.
Jun 17, 2023 · Brianne BarrettWe have been to Rye Camp three times now, and will be back. It’s such a great place to go with a young family, but the teenagers love it just as much! My three and six year olds feel so brave being able to walk around the ground on their own. The beds are SO comfortable, and the owners think of everything — games, solar powered lanterns/lighting, the best fire seating, walkie talkies, and more. We played ghost in the graveyard and it was so so fun. I love it here! Please support! If you’re wanting to try camping with little kids but aren’t sure how it will go this is the place. The nearby bear creek donuts are a must.
Mar 30, 2024 · Rachel BauerMy family and I had a wonderful getaway at this hidden gem! It’s close to home (Dayton) but feels worlds away! Even though there were other visitors we felt like we had the whole campground to ourselves - a major plus! The Rye Camp Team thought of everything down to a S’Mores Kit and pizza delivery! Glamping but getting away from it all! It’s on our list for this year!
Jan 16, 2023 · Aaron ReiffThis is a very nice and private campground. We stayed in the Aster and brought our dogs, too. Firewood and a grate for cooking were provided. They also provided plenty of water and a portable sink for washing your hands, etc. We had a great and relaxing trip. If you're looking for a private getaway in the Dayton area, I highly recommend.
