For tent campers, specific recommendations were made for sites 13, 14, and 15, noted to be close together and equipped with benches and fire pits. Pricing and Availability Considerations:
One reviewer mentioned that they imagine the campground will usually have openings due to the nightly cost being "quite high" at $40 per night. This price point might be a consideration for some local users when comparing options for "camping near me." Salmonberry Park & Campground Reviews
Beautiful little campground! Rv & tent spots, a yurt, and cabin are all available for a decent price. Camp hosts were amazing, and the bathrooms and showers were kept clean and tidy.
Jul 23, 2024 · Brett WindhamMostly a campground for RVs but a few sites tucked in the back are good for tent camping.I'd recommend sites 13, 14, and 15 in that order for tent camping (the 3 sites are close together and are shown in the picture with 13 on the right, 14 middle, and 15 left). Sites have benches and firepits. Potable well water is available (couldn't find this info online).I imagine this campground will usually have openings due to the nightly cost being quite high, $40/night.I probably won't go back but enjoyed my time there.
May 28, 2024 · Sam MillerVillage camping ~ (mid summer 2021)We got lucky and were able to get a site from a no-show reservation. We paid $25 for our site. The campsite feels similar to a park with a oval map with a large grass field in the center. The sites were pretty close together but we made friends with our camping neighbors. The restrooms were very clean! Showers are available with quarter operation. We bought fire wood from the camp host.In the morning we see the for a swim in the river. The water was perfect temperature and fairly clean!
Feb 03, 2024 · HaleyCamp hostess was terrific! Bathrooms were so clean and wonderful. There were a lot of stinging nettles and 4 of us got stung. The swimming hole was amazing!! Great place, will definitely go back!!
Jun 21, 2021 · Mz MommaThis is a pretty great campground. The host was nice and laid back, but kept a clean and tidy space. The sites don't offer a lot of privacy but it's sort of made up for my the fact that it's not a very big campground.Great access for swimming and crawdad catching. No Verizon service anywhere nearby.
