Oct 10, 2019 · Tom MayersFantastic!!!! My kids and friends rent every year for almost 10 yrs over the 4th of July. Wonderful spot and the caretakers are fantastic and keep the restrooms spotless. Never had any troubles. Its close to the coast so you can drive right over and watch the fireworks.
Mar 02, 2020 · Tonia Isamanthis is a real nice place or it used to be before it became a money trap . used to go here all the time but the group only reservation killed it. Im an army vet and hate to see nice things institutionalized. Whoever did the law change sucks , law needs to be changed. Why can only people with lots of money go here ? Put in a army veteran as a camp host and stay out of my recreation areas . people that come up with laws like this need made to wear a mask with metered air that is paid for by the not rich .
Mar 06, 2019 · Kenneth L WagnerKind of stumbled across this place, it's a group campground, says reservation only but the gate was open. The creek runs around the outer edge, it's mostly maintained but expect to do some work if you drive there.
May 02, 2023 · Thomas PutnamThe campground is huge, accomodating up to 80 people (the next campground over can hold 100 people) for a reasonable fee. There are two bathrooms and several firepits. There is a little creek deep enough for swimming running between the two campgrounds. All in all a great place to have a getaway campout reunion, if you are up for the drive. It is 11 miles or so east of Waldport, and absolutely no cell reception there whatsoever. Gotta go to Alsea or Waldport for any service.
