Aug 23, 2024 · SteveGreat family camp ground. The organizers take great care to ensure everyone's safe and happy. I was there for an annual Tai Chi camp with 49 other students. The camp has been held at this location since 2011.
Sep 18, 2022 · Tony CoatesOur church group opens the season every year on Memorial Day weekend before the camp is in full swing, do I can’t speak to programs. The setting , staff, and food are all fantastic! Great kayaks and canoes. The cabins are rustic but great, though the beds are a bit firm if you have an old body. Bring a pad!
May 28, 2019 · Kevin OsbornSituated on their own private island in the middle of one of New England's largest clear water lakes. Very rustic. No tenting, cabins only. Meals are included; basic non-fancy cafeteria style for the most part. But that means NO DISHES! They have a large variety activities for everyone. They also have weekday morning programs for the pre-teens, which lets parents start their days with a little kid-free time. This is the best family camp in New England, maybe even the best in the US, perhaps even the world. If you can find better, it won't be by much.
Aug 13, 2023 · David RobbinsSandy Island is absolutely wonderful. You can't just visit the place, you have to book it and usually with a group I think. It's owned by the YMCA. We go here with our church the group every fall and absolutely love it!
