Tower Hill Cottages Introduce
Are you searching for the perfect "camping near me" experience in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire? Look no further than Tower Hill Cottages, nestled at 220 Endicott St N, Laconia, NH 03246, USA. While technically offering cozy cottage rentals, Tower Hill Cottages provides an atmosphere and access to outdoor activities that resonate with the spirit of camping, offering a delightful alternative for those who appreciate some home comforts amidst nature.
At Tower Hill Cottages, you'll find a haven characterized by its well-maintained and beautiful grounds. The owners, Rick and Lisa, are frequently mentioned by guests for their down-to-earth and incredibly welcoming nature, fostering a friendly and hospitable environment. This personal touch can significantly enhance your stay, making you feel more like a welcomed guest than just a visitor.
One of the key features of Tower Hill Cottages is its strategic location. For those looking to combine relaxation by the water with their getaway, the campground is conveniently close to the beach. This proximity allows for easy access to swimming, sunbathing, and other lakeside activities, enriching your "camping near me" experience with aquatic adventures. Additionally, the presence of an on-site pool offers another excellent option for cooling off and enjoying leisurely afternoons, particularly appealing to families.
The accommodations at Tower Hill Cottages are described as rustic cabins, which aligns with a traditional camping feel while providing more shelter and amenities than tent camping. According to a satisfied guest, the cabins and bed linens are clean, addressing a common concern for many travelers. This blend of rustic charm and cleanliness makes Tower Hill Cottages an appealing option for those who enjoy the outdoors but prefer not to fully rough it.
For those who might have a family member less enthusiastic about traditional camping, like the reviewer's daughter, the cabins offer a comfortable compromise. The positive feedback from this guest, who "loved my time there and can’t wait to go back," speaks volumes about the enjoyable experience Tower Hill Cottages provides. The reviewer also highlighted the convenience of the location, noting its closeness to various attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the local area.
Tower Hill Cottages markets itself as pet-friendly, which is a significant draw for many travelers looking for "camping near me" options that welcome their furry companions. However, it's important to note a review that indicates some limitations regarding the size of dogs allowed. A guest with a 70-pound, two-year-old dog (the size of a retriever) reported being told their dog was too big to rent a cottage. This suggests that while pets are generally welcome, there might be size restrictions. If you plan to bring your pet, it is highly recommended to call ahead and confirm their specific pet policy, especially regarding size and breed.
To get in touch with Tower Hill Cottages, you can call them at (603) 366-4000 or their mobile number, +1 603-366-4000. Speaking directly with the owners can help clarify any questions you might have about availability, pet policies, or specific cabin amenities.
In summary, Tower Hill Cottages offers a unique blend of the traditional camping experience with the added comfort of cabin rentals. Its well-maintained grounds, proximity to the beach, on-site pool, and the welcoming nature of the owners contribute to a positive guest experience. Its location also provides easy access to the attractions of the Laconia area. While generally pet-friendly, potential guests with larger dogs should verify the pet policy beforehand.
If you are searching within the "camping near me" category and desire a getaway that combines the beauty of the outdoors with the convenience of a cozy cabin, Tower Hill Cottages in Laconia, NH, might be the perfect destination for you. Consider it for your next family vacation or a relaxing escape in the scenic Lakes Region.

Tower Hill Cottages Reviews
Okay, first the owners Rick and Lisa are truly down to earth and incredibly welcoming and kind. Well maintained beautiful grounds and close to the beach as well as having a pool. Cabins are rustic as advertised. My biggest concerns are cleanliness especially in the beds when I go somewhere. The cabin and bed linens were clean. I’m a big camping fan, and my daughter is absolutely not. So, a cabin would be the closest thing, and I can’t say enough that I loved my time there and can’t wait to go back. I just left today. I had such a good time with my daughter. The place is so close to everything we wanted to do, and they are nicest people ever!
Jun 30, 2021 · Jennifer BottoI've gone here many times. They say they are pet friendly, we called to rent a cottage. We told them our dog was 2 yrs old and 70 pounds (size of a retriever) We were told she was too big. So be warned, they are only somewhat pet friendly.(She is also my service dog)
Jul 08, 2022 · JULIE LindquistEnjoyed our stay very much, Lisa was fantastic, we had a one night stay at the campsites in back for a concert, she gave our ten year old a cowboy hat to wear for the show, and let him drive one of her golf cart around, needless to say he had a blast!!! The pool was sparkling clean as were the grounds and bathrooms, very family friendly place, I would recommend this easygoing place to friens/family.
Jul 15, 2019 · CarrieThis place is great! It’s run by two fantastic folks, its extremely conveniently located to everything Laconia/Meredith has to offer, it’s very biker friendly, they have a pool, cabins come large and small, they are pet friendly, and there’s RV and tent sites…what more do y’all need?!
Jun 16, 2023 · Cecilia DurkeeI stayed here with my boyfriend and some friends in June. The owners were so extremely friendly and we loved our cottage. It is located walking distance to Weirs Beach and we are actually heading back there this weekend. The pool is super nice, too!
