Nestled in Warren, New Hampshire, Scenic View Campground benefits from the natural beauty of the region. While the reviews don't explicitly detail specific scenic views from every site, the name itself suggests that the location offers pleasant surroundings. New Hampshire is renowned for its picturesque landscapes, including mountains, forests, and waterways. Warren, situated in the western part of the state, is likely surrounded by such natural beauty, offering campers a chance to connect with the outdoors. The mention of peace and quiet at night in one review indicates a generally tranquil environment, ideal for relaxation after a day of activities.
Based on the customer reviews, Scenic View Campground prides itself on its cleanliness and maintenance. One reviewer explicitly stated, "This camp ground is very clean and the grounds are well taken care of. The bathrooms and showers were clean," highlighting a significant aspect for many campers. This dedication to cleanliness extends to the overall campground, suggesting a well-managed and cared-for property. For local users searching for "campgrounds near me" where hygiene is a priority, Scenic View Campground appears to be an excellent choice.
A significant feature of Scenic View Campground, particularly appealing to families, is its array of recreational facilities. The campground boasts a pool and a splash pad, which were described as being "in great shape" and loved by children. This makes it an ideal destination for families with young kids looking for "camping near me" with water-based fun. Additionally, the presence of two playgrounds located at different ends of the property provides ample space for children to play and burn off energy. One reviewer mentioned, "they also had 2 nice play grounds at both ends of the property for the kids," emphasizing the convenience and enjoyment these facilities offer.
While one reviewer noted that their "site was a little small" for a big camper, they still enjoyed their stay and would return. This suggests that while some sites might be more suited for smaller setups, the overall positive experience outweighs this minor inconvenience. It's always recommended to inquire about site sizes when booking to ensure it accommodates your specific camping equipment. The same reviewer also mentioned hearing traffic from the main road, particularly noticeable after the campground quieted down post-Labor Day. This is something to be aware of, although it didn't detract significantly from their overall enjoyment.
The timing of the seasons seems to play a role in the availability of some amenities. The pool, for instance, closed the day after Labor Day, as mentioned by one guest who stayed during that period. This is typical for seasonal outdoor facilities in New Hampshire, where cooler temperatures arrive in the fall. However, the reviewer also noted that it was "a little too cool to swim anyway," suggesting that the closure was appropriate for the weather conditions. It's advisable to check the operating schedules of amenities like the pool and splash pad when planning your visit, especially if traveling outside of the peak summer season.
The positive reviews serve as strong testimonials for Scenic View Campground. The recurring themes of cleanliness, well-maintained grounds, and excellent facilities for children indicate a campground that prioritizes guest comfort and enjoyment. The quiet nights contribute to a relaxing atmosphere, allowing campers to unwind and get a good night's sleep. The willingness of a guest with a large camper to return despite a slightly small site speaks volumes about the overall positive experience offered by the campground.

Scenic View Campground Reviews
We really lucked out because we stayed Labor Day and the following week. After Labor Day, the place cleared out and we practically had the place to ourselves. Site was a little small, but we have a big camper. Campground is very clean, well maintained. Pool closed the day after Labor Day, but it was a little too cool to swim anyway. You could hear the traffic on the main road, but maybe that's because it was so quiet! Enjoyed it, though, would stay that week again.

Aug 14, 2023 · Brian GouldScenic View is our favorite campground in NH. We've been visiting for the last 8 years. Every year there's a new reason we love them more! They're campsites are grass covered (lovely!!) Their playground/pool area is very family friendly. Their staff is incredible and caring! We've never had a frustrating experience with any staff member, even when we had to call a few times in a row to handle multiple bookings with their new system. We just can't say enough good things about this wonderful campground in a quiet part of NH! Highly, highly, recommend!!
Jul 01, 2021 · Melissa ValenceWe were pretty disappointed and won’t be coming back. Our tent site was so small that the fire ring was in the parking spot. We didn’t have a lot of stuff: just one tent and one car. The sites were right on top of each other—we could hear conversations on both sides. We also found the people to be quite rude, complaining about our autistic child being loud well before quiet hours, only to find people whooping and hollering after midnight and even watching TV outdoors! The pool is dinky, you need quarters to run the shower, and the “bathrooms” are porta-potties. We have spent many happy weeks in NH, and highly recommend Franstead Family Campground and Plymouth Sands Campground, among others.
Aug 05, 2023 · Allison SmithSo overall, I really enjoyed this place, but there were some issues with the people that go as well. Since it is inexpensive compared to a KOA. People visiting have no sense of personal space are rude and refuse to follow a majority of the rules, and yes, they are out of state riff raff. Multiple times, people crossed into our site while we were eating and behind our site to visit the water. Which, in my opinion, were not entitled to. You pay more for a premium spot it should come with a little more privacy. There could be solutions to that. General access to the river in a designated spot would be a good way to contain that. I'm not sure if that is viable but would be a good option to look into. I'd definitely go again, just not for the weekend or holiday. Enough of the negative. The staff and owners are great people, and their general store had a lot of great items that Walmart didn't even carry. The play areas are pristine and pool well maintained, as well as heated, I believe.
